The Zojirushi thermos made of stainless steel can be attributed to the universal solutions of the middle class. Thanks to the wide mouth (70 mm) inside the 1.5-liter flask it is easy to place not only drinks with pieces of ice, but also various foods (both first and second courses). In addition, an additional plastic bowl is included in the package, which is better suited for the role of a plate.
But the main outer lid can be used for both food and drinks (like a cup). Thermos Zojirushi SF-CC15, in addition to the traditional vacuum design, provides a valve that opens with a button. It will allow you to conveniently pour water with minimal heat loss in the process. The overall quality of the thermal insulation of the model is at a high level, since even after 24 hours the boiling water will be quite hot (about 56 °C), and after 6 hours after the flood — 79 °C. Pre-chilled liquids will not heat up at all quickly: in the same 6 hours, the temperature will rise by approximately 3 degrees (from 4 to 7 °C). Other features include a Teflon coating for easy cleaning of the bulb, carrying handle and shoulder strap. The latter can be removed if it is not needed.

I decided not to skimp on a thermos since I often go on short hikes; in short, I prefer active recreation. The 2-liter capacity is perfect for a small group. I chose this one on a friend's recommendation. Many people praise Zojirushi in general. The design isn't anything special - it looks like an ordinary metal thermos, nothing new, but that's appreciated too. There is a convenient rubber handle, but for a 2-liter thermos, it's more of a necessity. However, the strap included is truly a useful feature. With it, you can carry the thermos on your shoulder, and that's cool. The temperature retention is excellent: 12 hours is no problem at all. It's even suitable for transporting food (like soups). Quality materials were used. The valve is disassemblable, making it easy to clean. The set includes a second cup, but it resembles a plate more; they could have come up with something more interesting. The lid closing system is inconvenient - it's almost never possible to do it right on the first try. |
Compared to this, my previous thermos was awful at retaining temperature. Many people recommended thermoses with glass flasks, but the stainless steel one also keeps the temperature excellently, and it's less likely to become unusable. In short, replace your old thermoses, don't hesitate. Though this one is quite expensive, it works as it should, and I hope over time its qualities will remain high. I used to have a cheap thermos that barely kept the temperature (a couple of hours was its limit). Finally, I decided to get a higher quality model and I don’t regret it! This model is really worth the money. It can maintain the temperature of a drink for almost 24 hours. Of course, the liquid gradually cools down but it retains its original temperature for at least 12 hours. This applies to both hot and cold liquids. It looks simple, with nothing unnecessary. It features a convenient rubber handle and a strap. Made of stainless steel, the flask is also steel. Thanks to this, it’s not afraid of falls since breaking the seal is almost impossible. The lid also serves as a convenient (and importantly, large) cup. I haven't noticed any serious drawbacks so far.
