Saving tap
Economical mixer
— mixers, the water flow rate of which does not exceed 5 liters per minute.Note that this feature is found only among models for the kitchen or for the washbasin (see "Purpose") — they can achieve good performance with low water consumption. For this, built-in aerators are usually used, which saturate the water jet with air bubbles: these bubbles increase the thickness of the jet and provide additional impact on the washed surface. So if low water consumption in the kitchen or in the washbasin is important to you, it is quite possible to buy an economical tap without worrying about the quality of its work. Such models are somewhat more expensive than similar "non-economical", but this difference, usually, quickly pays off when used. But taps for other purposes — for baths, showers, etc. — are not “economical” in principle: they, by definition, require quite a lot of water, and 5 liters per minute is no longer enough here.
