The model included in the Ryzen 5 Matisse line belongs to AMD's junior seven-nanometer processors. It supports multi-threading, has 32MB L3 cache, supports PCI-E 4.0 interface and is compatible with socket AM4 motherboards. Unlike its sister 3600 6-core, 12-thread version, the AMD 3600X OEM processor features 200 MHz more performance and up to 95 W of heat dissipation correspondingly.
The last factor must be taken into account when choosing a suitable cooling system, since the cooler is not included in the package of this CPU. The clock frequency of each core is 3.8 GHz, and with the help of proprietary technologies, this value can be increased to 4.4 GHz. Thanks to the free multiplier, the user has a safe and fairly easy option to change the frequency baseline.
