Compared to the previous generation, the iPad Mini has a larger display (8.3" vs. 7.9"). Front camera 12 MP, with a viewing angle of 122 degrees. Face tracking function via video call.
The fingerprint scanner is located in the power button on the side. Support for Apple Pencil gen 2 (attached to the side of the tablet, magnetized). Used USB-C v3.0. The display ratio is 3 to 2 (previous tablets were 4 to 3). Camera without optical stabilization.

The tablet is powered by the proprietary six-core Apple A17 Pro processor, equipped with 8 GB of RAM and built-in data storage of 128 GB (in the basic configuration). Additionally, graphics with ray tracing and an AI accelerator for Apple Intelligence are provided. A Wi-Fi 6E wireless module is used to access the Internet. In some configurations, support for 5G mobile networks can be implemented. The tablet is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a similar front camera, a side fingerprint scanner, and a USB type C charging port. The device is powered by a 5078 mAh battery with support for 20-watt wired charging.
