Compact storage electric water heater with a volume of 15 liters with a simple and reliable mechanical control. It is intended for vertical wall mounting with a top supply of communications (it is supposed to be installed under a sink). It is positioned as a product of the middle price category from the Bosch Tronic 2000 family of the 2018 model, focused on active domestic use.
Designed to meet small hot water needs such as kitchens, medical offices, massage parlors, workshops, small garages, etc. It is light in weight for easy installation. It can quickly, in just 35 minutes, heat water from 15 to 65 ° C, while the maximum water temperature reaches 70 ° C. The durable inner tank of the device is made by welding from low-carbon cold-rolled steel sheet 1.8 mm thick, and its surface is reliably insulated from hot water with branded heat-resistant glass-ceramic enamel. We chose this boiler because we needed a small-sized one for under the sink, as there's no possibility to install a water heater in the bathroom due to thin weak walls that can't support it. Yes, it's compact, but if the pipe connection is from above, it would have been logical to have a proper base for floor installation at the bottom — instead, it's designed without legs and with a convex base. We had to create a soft stand ourselves and attach it at the back with screws. Also, the safety valve was disappointing — when mounted directly onto the boiler's inlet thread, the water outlet from the valve is directed vertically upwards, meaning you need to very carefully attach the drain hose to prevent the boiler from getting soaked. Compact, fits under the sink, heats water quickly. The regulator is inaccurate, that is, if you turn it and then put it in one selected position, it heats differently - it’s better to set it up once and not touch it. A small water heater in the chemical laboratory is quite useful, especially in winter. Washing dishes is necessary all year round, but doing it in February, when the cold water temperature drops to 7-8 degrees – shoutout to the builders who were too lazy to bury the pipe deeper. So, sticking your hands into such water is quite an "enjoyable" experience. Your fingers cramp up, the skin turns red as if from a mild burn – in short, a very unpleasant task. A lot depends on the laboratory at our production site; six months ago, we purchased new equipment for spectral analysis and hired young engineers. Just last week, the general director paid us a visit, and we complained to him about this inconvenience. In short, a week later, at the beginning of March, a plumber came and brought this device. I'll say right away, for the laboratory, it's 100% suitable in terms of size, capacity, and performance. I'd even buy one for our summer cottage; my wife would be happy. A single heating element operates the 15-liter capacity, but it boasts a power of one and a half kilowatts. This means it heats up to 60 degrees in about half an hour. Commendable speed, especially when a lower temperature and even shorter heating time are often sufficient. Plus, it fits entirely inside the cabinet under the sink. The very compact tank and top piping make it easy to conceal. It's easy to turn on and off and adjust the temperature, with two indicators (network and heating). It’s assembled very neatly, showing the Bosch pedigree right away. It clearly lacks even an approximate thermometer; you have to turn on the water and test it with your hand, but even that doesn't guarantee that the water in the lower part of the tank is already cold. |

Bosch Tronic 2000 T minitank is a small storage water heater with a capacity of 15 liters. This volume is enough for about 10 - 20 minutes of using hot water (depending on the flow pressure and the position of the thermostat). For heating water, a “wet” heating element with a power of 1500 W is used. With it, the boiler can raise the water temperature from 15 to 65 degrees in 35 minutes.
Heats well and doesn't freeze
To control the operation of the boiler, mechanical regulators are used, which are located on the front panel. One of them replaces the On/Off button. (i.e., the water heater can be turned off completely without pulling the plug out of the socket). Using the second “twist”, the user can set the desired water heating temperature (up to a maximum of 70 ° C). It should be noted that this boiler (as, indeed, many other small water heaters) does not have a thermometer, and the regulator is not particularly accurate. Therefore, it is better to set the desired water temperature once using the “poke method”, and then touch the “twist” as little as possible. One of the positions of the thermostat (it is indicated by a risk in the lower part of the conditional temperature scale) serves to activate the anti-freeze function. In this mode, the boiler will turn on only when the water inside it cools down to 5 °C to prevent freezing of the liquid in the tank and pipes. Therefore, the Bosch Tronic 2000 T minitank, in addition to ordinary domestic use, is also well suited for use in summer kitchens, workshops, production workshops, warehouses and other premises where there is water supply and an electrical network, but heating is tight.
Effective corrosion control
