the "people's" full-frame camera as envisioned by Canon is a compact and lightweight mirrorless camera with a full-frame sensor of 26.2 MP. The camera's sensor works with a native ISO range of 100-40000. It is possible to boost the sensitivity up to 102400 ISO through software methods. The model is capable of continuous shooting at a speed of 4 fps with continuous focus and 5 fps with single-shot focus.

The sensors of the advanced Dual Pixel AF autofocus system cover 100% of the frame horizontally and about 88% of the image vertically. There are a total of 4779 autofocus points in the arsenal of the Canon EOS RP. Videos can be recorded in a maximum resolution of 4K at 25 fps with a bitrate of 120 Mbit/s using the h.264 codec. The crop factor in this case is 1.6x.

The mirrorless camera does not have an in-body image stabilization system. The model's display is touchscreen and fully articulated. Additionally, the camera is equipped with a 0.39-inch OLED viewfinder. The camera maintains wireless connections with mobile devices via built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules. In terms of battery life, the camera shows modest results, delivering approximately 250 shots on a single battery charge according to CIPA standards. This kit includes a zoom lens with a versatile focal length range of 24-105 mm and a fixed maximum aperture of f/4.

    An excellent camera for hobbyists. If you need a compact everyday camera for photos, this is just what you need. The eye focus easily keeps up with my daughter using f/1.8. You absolutely don't need a computer to send photos while on vacation: you simply sit down to eat at a café, and upload the photos to a group chat on Viber directly from the camera. Thanks to Bluetooth, you can easily operate the camera while leaving it on a tripod, and with Wi-Fi, you can also configure it. Overall, the camera produces great images and its colors are good enough to use straight away. Focus is available across the entire screen, so you can set the continuous autofocus permanently and change it only to eye tracking (U1 - eye tracking, U2 - something else). Auto ISO! I had issues with this on Fuji and Nikon. Here it works perfectly: first the shutter speed slows down, then the ISO increases, and then the shutter speed slows down again! That's it! I've forgotten about manual mode since the camera can adjust itself in challenging conditions like bright sun and sharp shadows from clouds, and I just tweak the exposure compensation, selecting the right exposure using the histogram.
    It's light! Really, super light! I just can't part with it. RP + 50mm is exactly what I need. Compared to the D610, it's so small. Fast autofocus, rotating screen, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. When used as a webcam, it does a great job focusing on the eyes. The focus doesn't hunt when I change my position in the chair.
    A host of limitations: 4K is bad, dynamic range is poor - better not to mess up the exposure, eye autofocus isn't reliable, meaning if there's light behind a person, the camera struggles to find them. Silent mode is hidden and causes a strong rolling shutter effect. The power switch is on the left, the front wheel is on top, there's no button or anything under your thumb where the joystick is on the R6, and the smart focus mode is too small. There's no button for eye autofocus.

    The camera is great for those who aren't shooting weddings! It's optimal for everything else. You can charge it via Power Delivery (though you can't take pictures during this time), or you can get a second original battery right away. I don't recommend non-original ones.
    Light, tenacious autofocus, works great with third-party old lenses
    The battery is rather weak, you need to take a second one, but the original one. The dynamic range is right back to back, working ISO 1600, conditionally working 3200.
