High power 2-speed cordless drill/driver with brushless motor, impact mode and built-in LED light. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category. Belongs to the family of multi-purpose professional hand-held power tools Grand, designed to perform significant volumes of assembly and dismantling, assembly, construction and finishing works. It will become a handy assistant for both an active DIY enthusiast and a certified craftsman.
Thanks to the impressive torque (up to 65 Nm) and the impressive capacity of the two supplied batteries, it can be used as the main tool for long series work. Moderate weight (1.8 kg) and ergonomic design create optimal conditions for long performant work without premature fatigue of the operator's hands. The Grand DA-21UBL Pro screwdriver is equipped with a powerful and overload protected brushless motor, working in conjunction with a durable two-speed planetary gearbox.
At the first speed (up to 450 rpm) it will cope with the screwing-unscrewing of screws, self-tapping screws, confirmations, and other threaded fasteners of a significant diameter. On the second (up to 1700 rpm) it can quickly drill steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, ceramics, polymers and wood. Equipped with two batteries (21V/3 Ah), quick charger (60 min) and a handy carrying case.

In my opinion, there is no better drill/screwdriver. Probably there are better options (not a fact), but they will no longer cost 2000 UAH .., and this is a fact. * it is possible to insert a drill bit up to 13mm in diameter, which is rare for such compact devices. * fully metal chuck * hammer mode. * to charge, there's no need to remove the battery from the tool, which reduces wear on the battery and screwdriver slides and grooves, and for this reason, the connection is less likely to get clogged with dust and debris. * no need to carry a charging station, only a small, lightweight adapter. * battery charge indicator available * long operation due to brushlessness and large battery capacity, * power thanks to high voltage. On the first speed, I tried to grip it with my hand to prevent it from starting and turning. Tried several times. Didn't succeed, almost rubbed the skin on my palm raw, and my wrist hurt for a long time afterward. And on the second speed, as expected, the overload protection activated. - The light sensor is too "coarse" - it's bright enough in the room, but the sensor still turns on the diode. Only when you point the sensor directly at the lamp does it "understand" that there's enough lighting. - The lighting diode sticks out of the housing, and if a person looks from the side, the diode shines into their eyes and gets in the way. In my opinion, it should be recessed into the housing so that it only shines forward... just imagine if car headlights shined not only forward… ) There is no recess for a bit in the housing, it would be much more convenient with it. |
Initially, I wanted to take the Grand DA-12U model for home use, but in order not to regret later that I saved in the wrong place, I chose this model. The main selection criterion was the impact mode. A concrete wall of 18 cm in shock mode drills easily. This model has a brushless motor and a very high torque, unlike cheap models, then the self-tapping screw enters the 150th pine beam like butter, without any effort. The kit includes 2 batteries, which allows you to do a large amount of work without stopping, and plus, here they are 21 volts and 3 Ah, they hold excellent and charge very quickly. But because of this, it is heavier than the battery clip model. Brushless motor, case, 2 batteries included and they are with a charging indicator, shock mode. Except the weight.
