Five-kilowatt dual-fuel inverter type generator. Equipped with an internal combustion engine with a working volume of 312 cm3 and a power of 9.5 hp. Starting is carried out using an electric starter or manually. The Konner&Sohnen KS 5500iEG S generator engine can run on gas fuel (propane-butane) or gasoline. A cable with a gas reducer, necessary to connect the power plant to a propane tank, is included.
The set of outputs for powering electricity consumers is represented by two 230 V sockets (16 A and 32 A), a low-voltage connector (12 V) and two USB ports for recharging electronic devices. Thanks to the inverter alternator, this generator is suitable for powering "sensitive" household appliances and modern boilers with automatic electronic control units. The unit is covered with a sound-absorbing casing, which reduces the noise level to an acceptable level. The generator has wheels and a telescopic handle, which allow you to easily and conveniently move the 52.5 kg machine.

With the power outages, I needed a generator for the house and chose this particular model, mainly because of the well-known brand and the ability to use it with gas. In general, I used it for only about 10 hours, so far I have a positive impression.
It starts with a button and a string quickly and without problems, I tried to start it with gas in the summer, I was also able to do it, although it is not recommended. To save fuel, there is an ECO mode that reduces engine speed and power to 50. It is convenient that you can see the load level, engine hours, and remaining gasoline. Gas runs even softer and a little quieter compared to gasoline, you can switch the type of fuel with a toggle switch without turning off the engine. Shumka is at a high level, especially when compared with neighboring conventional models, even much less powerful. The electric motor pulls 2.8 kW, despite the fact that the start-up currents are clearly much higher than the nominal ones. I also tried to start an electric boiler with a power of 5 kW, but I hear that the load for it is significant. It was not very convenient to pour the oil myself, but it was acceptable. A cool solution is the telescopic handle, both from the suitcase and the wheels for moving, there is also a handle at the back for two people to carry.
