Compact and lightweight (weight 1.6 kg excluding battery) battery-powered chain saw. The device is positioned by the manufacturer as a tool that is intended for performing gardening work, such as pruning bushes and trees. The saw set is a short 150 mm bar with a 1/4" chain. Thanks to the speed control function, the Metabo MS 18 LTX 15 600856850 chain saw automatically maintains the optimal cutting speed (maximum 5 m/s) even with a sharp increase or decrease in load.
Because There is no oil tank, the saw set is lubricated manually during pauses in work (the kit includes a 100 ml jar with a special adhesive oil). The bar fastening mechanism allows you to tension the chain by simply turning the handle. In this configuration, the tool is supplied without a battery and a charger. To power the saw, you should use an 18-volt Metabo battery (or an analogue from the CAS family). A 2 Ah battery will allow you to make up to 60 cross cuts in hardwood Ø 80 mm on one charge.
