A good sturdy screwdriver is the most versatile and necessary tool in any man's home arsenal. Well, since I myself like to mess around with home appliances and computer equipment, it was decided to immediately take a medium-sized set and a screwdriver handle with bits. My brother suggested NEO trademark. At the end of the summer, he bought a decent set of electrical tools from this manufacturer and was very pleased with them, so my choice was not accidental. This is a fairly simple set of 9 screwdrivers. It consists of five regular spline models in different sizes and four cross versions. The range is selected in such a way that it covers almost all types of household work with fasteners and allows you to get to decently recessed screws and screws. Phillips screwdrivers are available in PH0, PH1 and PH2 format with lengths from 38 to 150 mm. The size of the slot in conventional slotted ones is from 3 to 6.5 mm, and the length is the same as that of the cross ones. The metal of the rod is very durable, according to the manufacturer it is a carbon tool steel alloyed with manganese (0.5%), vanadium (0.5%) and molybdenum (0.5%). Such steel perfectly accepts hardening and the final hardness is worthy of a professional tool. The ends of the working part are magnetized, which prevents the fasteners from falling at the most unfortunate moment. The handles are molded from high-quality thermoplastic, fit in the palm of your hand like family, twisting them with considerable effort is not at all difficult. All screwdrivers are assembled in a convenient plastic case equipped with a carrying handle. In the realities of today, simple slotted screwdrivers for their intended purpose are used much less frequently than Phillips ones. Good and comfortable handles are made of composite material, on top of which a rubberized coating is applied. Handle materials are oil resistant. That is, the tool from this set can easily be used in the garage to repair a car or motorcycle, without fear that engine oil, grease or brake fluid will dissolve or damage the plastic (as, unfortunately, often happens with low-cost screwdriver handles).
