For basic photography skills + as a staffer A wide range of focal lengths: you can capture landscapes, architecture, or anything large and voluminous, and you can also take a decent portrait at 105 mm. The stabilizer is effective and often comes in handy, especially since the aperture is not very high for this lens. In a folded state, it's quite compact. It doesn't take up much space in your bag, and the weight is also decent. The wide rubberized zoom ring is convenient and pleasant to the touch. It's suitable for video shooting because it again has good optical stabilization and a nearly silent focusing drive. Plastic bayonet mount - it tends to have play and glitches in the contact group over time. However, if you don't change lenses often, it will last a long time. Mine is already 7 years old and everything is fine so far. Under its own weight, if directed downwards, it does not hold and extends to 105 mm. Very weak lens hood, two have already broken. Expensive protective filters due to the size of the front lens. There is no hint of any sealing, resulting in a vacuum effect that sucks in any small dirt and dust into it and the "body" during active use. Play in the focus ring, which is also plastic, very narrow, and uncomfortable. The stabilized image noticeably "drains" the battery charge, which I have not noticed with other lenses (for instance, the 55-300 does not have this issue). 18-55 is worse than 18-105, I compared them and therefore bought the 18-105, but it's not worth comparing with other specialized ones as they are tailored for one task which they perform best. But how to be when you're on vacation and need to photograph sunsets, portraits, etc., then 18-105 is powerful. Also, I would say it's important to decide what you want to shoot and then determine what exactly you need for your purposes, but for now, 18-105 is the best choice. And to have good photos, you must definitely read about how to shoot and what distinguishes good photos from bad ones - (me near a monument, me near a house, me somewhere else) such photos are unpleasant to look at. At least read one book about photography. Give a fool a 17-55 and he won’t be able to take a normal photo!!! , And if your hands are not from the ass and your head is on your shoulders, 18-105 will please any beginner, of course it’s weak for a pro. The main advantage is the price!!!!!! As for a whale, it's not bad at all. VR often saves the day light sharp Plastic, a little dark for an amateur, (With the right approach indoors without flash - easy.) Question about Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-S ED DX Nikkor На каком фокусном расстоянии диафрагма закрываться до f5.6 ?
Слышал что на этом объективе диафрагма закрывается слишком рано. т.е при фокусном расстоянии 55 мм уже меньше f5.6 не поставишь, правда ли это? Стоит ли этот объектив брать вместо стандартного 18-55? Будет ли он чуть светлее на тех фокусных расстояниях как у стандартного?
