Full-frame prime lens for the Nikon Z mirrorless system for shooting diverse scenes. The focal length of the 50mm model is roughly equivalent to how the human eye sees. Accordingly, in the field of view of the Nikon 50mm f / 1.8 S Nikkor Z, you can fit all the necessary objects in the frame, avoiding wide-angle distortion, which is characteristic of wide-angle optics. The lens is notable for its high aperture of f/1.8, which allows you to photograph in low light conditions at acceptable ISO values.
The rounded aperture model's 9-blade diaphragm delivers spectacular bokeh with smooth rounds in the out-of-focus area. In general, the optical design of the lens contains 12 elements in 9 groups. Nanocrystalline lens coating eliminates glare and unwanted reflections. “Under the hood” of the model, an accurate and fast step-by-step autofocus drive is installed, which aims at a target from a minimum distance of 40 cm. Filters in the size of 62 mm are suitable for the lens. With a case size of 76x87 mm, the weight of a fast “fifty kopeck piece” is 415 g.
