A fixed lens with an average focal length of 50 mm and a good aperture of f / 1.8 (the minimum aperture is 22). As is obvious, the Nikon 50mm is designed for use exclusively with Nikon systems with Full frame sensors and a screwdriver-type autofocus drive; Attaches to Nikon F mount.

Many say that this lens "blurs" the picture at an open aperture. Yes, this happens, but under one condition... you set the exposure incorrectly... or even worse if you're shooting in auto mode or AV (if you make a mistake by +/- a stop, there's a slight blur). I've been shooting with it since May, both with autofocus and manual focus, and the lens is top-notch, I'm satisfied!!! Great image!!! And very fast autofocus! What more could you need from a lens... Lack of engine... because of this it does not work on all cameras... ![]() |
It’s better to write all the pros and cons here. Sometimes it misses when focusing, but almost does not fade. The working aperture starts at 2.2, but at 2.5 truly good sharpness appears. There is no mount for the hood, it’s good that there is a miracle in the form of a rubber hood :) But all the same, for the money it’s just an amazing lens. A very good picture for the money. Just very, very good :))) When you choose a lens in a store, and you don’t have a built-in adjustment on your camera, make sure that it is in focus, as I first bought it for my D90, and then had to change it, since it had a constant front focus. ![]() |
For its price, it will still be many times better than cheap zooms. So it's worth taking. But if you have money for one of Nikon’s other fifty dollars, then it’s better to take it. For the money this is just a great polybook. I liked his drawing, quite a quick trick. When purchasing, you need to choose without back/front focus. Because if there is no internal adjustment on the camera, then there is no help anywhere else. It is not adjusted. Of course, it gives a certain percentage of defects in the focus. ![]() |
