Affordable electric storage water heater with a capacity of 50 liters with a traditional cylindrical body and vertical wall mounting. It is the middle model of the NOVAtec Standart Plus line. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a product of the basic price category, the democratic cost of which will be of interest to a wide range of consumers. It will help to create a hot water supply system for a bathroom and kitchen for a small family of up to 2 people.
An improved supply divider optimizes the mixing of different temperature streams and increases the proportion of hot water ready for use. The internal steel tank of the NOVAtec NT-SP 80 water heater is covered with glass-ceramic enamel, which consists of two layers and is characterized by increased resistance to temperature extremes. As an additional anti-corrosion protection, a magnesium anode is provided, which works as an electrochemical protector. To control the temperature, there is a trouble-free capillary thermostat and a bimetallic thermometer, the indicator of which is located in the upper part of the housing. Water heating is carried out by a traditional immersion tubular electric heating element with a power of 1800 W. Heating the entire volume of the tank from 15 to 60 °C takes 2 hours and 20 minutes.

After two years, the water from the tank began to flow with an unpleasant odor and a rusty color. An autopsy showed a completely destroyed anode and about five liters of debris in the form of scale. The tank was washed with water, replacing the anode. After maintenance and three days of operation, the water began to beat with current. I planned to change the heating element, but I didn’t have time, the tank dripped, in the middle of the night with a big crash and a pretty good flow of water from above. That is, a large hole was formed. Nice appearance. Ten at 1800 watts. Low price. Specifically, my tank dripped after two years of operation. use NOVAtec NT-SP 80 month or more |
I needed a water heater for the workshop. When working with clay, hot water is preferable, and cleaning up after work is much easier. At first, I considered installing a 50-liter boiler, but after thinking it over, I decided that 35 liters would be more than sufficient. Moreover, a smaller volume heats up much faster, so there's a definite benefit to that. The perfect volume that suits my needs just right. Among European manufacturers, finding a 35-liter model is tough. They often have tanks of 50 or 15 liters, but 15 is too little, and 50 is too much. The heating element for this volume is quite powerful. It heats these 35 liters to 60-65 degrees in just over an hour. I’ll add that the heating element here isn’t just plain steel, like in other models, but has a copper casing that doesn’t corrode in water and conducts heat excellently. Speaking of corrosion protection, the steel tank is reliably protected by two methods: enameling and electrochemical protective anode (magnesium anode). So, the manufacturer’s seven-year warranty on the tank isn’t just empty words. The water temperature can be adjusted by changing the thermostat settings. And for temperature control, there is a simple and very approximate mechanical thermometer. Domestic manufacturer. Maybe it doesn’t matter, but I think it’s right that my money stays in the country, someone will get a salary from it, buy domestic metal, and so on. Makes noise when heating. This wasn't the case for the first couple of months, but now the tank makes a sound similar to that of an electric kettle warming up. It seems like the cause is scale deposits that appear on the heating element over time. At least the noise is not loud. |
