The Best Camera Phones Under 20,000 UAH
We independently test the products and technologies that we recommend.

A comparison of the technical specifications of the models from the review is provided in a clear table of camera phones up to 20,000 UAH. The entire range of smartphones is presented in the corresponding subsection of the mobile phone catalog.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note series smartphones always hold top positions in the mid-range mobile device category. The 13 Pro 5G model is no exception.
The smartphone is housed in a body with plastic frames and a glass back. It is claimed to have basic water resistance IP54 — water droplets or light rain will not harm the device. On the front side, the model is equipped with a 6.67-inch high-resolution screen (2712x1220 pixels) with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The quality image on the display is complemented by the loud sound of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The device's hardware platform is led by a mid-range Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and the configuration provides 12/512 GB of memory (without an expansion slot). In terms of performance, the smartphone holds its own but does not particularly stand out compared to more powerful peers. The model's long-lasting autonomy is ensured by a 5100 mAh battery with support for 67-watt wired charging. It can be fully charged from zero in about 44 minutes.
On the back panel with a triple camera, the "200 MP" badge proudly stands — this is the resolution of the leading stabilized image sensor. Its status is supported by high test results in the DxOMark rating — 120 points. However, the additional modules here are clearly economized, as the smartphone is equipped with an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro sensor. The model is definitely worth its money, and for a slightly higher price, it is worth considering its advanced modification — Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

The solid mid-range Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone is designed in the same style as the flagship Samsung Galaxy S series. It has the potential to become a real sales hit.
The model is built on a sturdy metal chassis and has good dust and water resistance — IP67. Inside its body is the proprietary Exynos 1480 processor, which is an analogue of the popular Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 in terms of performance. The smartphone handles games and heavy applications at medium-high graphics settings. The mobile device's memory subsystem consists of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of data storage. If necessary, the hybrid expansion slot allows increasing the disk space, but at the cost of giving up the services of the second SIM card.
Traditionally, the smartphone features a bright and juicy Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels). Its refresh rate reaches 120 Hz, and the display also includes an integrated fingerprint scanner. The energy supply of the device's electronic components is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. Fast charging is present, but its power is small (25 W). However, the charging adapter will need to be purchased separately — there is no power block in the factory package.
The device's strengths inevitably include photo and video shooting. The model's triple main camera demonstrates high results in the DxOMark rating (108 points) and will not disappoint in practice. Its leading image sensor with a resolution of 50 MP has optical stabilization. The Samsung Galaxy A55 is a reasonably priced device from a first-tier brand that will appeal to a wide audience.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo model conquers the mobile industry with several key features. What exactly? Let's figure it out step by step.
The device features one of the best screens when viewed through the lens of solid mid-range smartphones. It is a high-class pOLED panel with a diagonal size of 6.4 inches, a resolution of 2670x1220 pixels, and an adaptive refresh rate range up to 120 Hz (i.e., the matrix is made using LTPO technology). The dynamically adjustable refresh rate helps save battery charge, as its capacity is slightly reduced — 4310 mAh. The battery supports 68-watt wired charging and 15-watt wireless technology.
On the back, the smartphone houses a triple main camera with a full set of a main stabilized sensor, ultra-wide, and telephoto (50 + 13 + 10 MP). In the DxOMark rating, it scored 115 points and also performs excellently in practice. Both the rear camera and the 32 MP front camera can record 4K video at 30 fps. Returning to the topic of the back, it is worth mentioning the model's body colors, developed in collaboration with Pantone. The artificial leather cover can be painted in signature colors Poinciana (red), Nautical Blue (blue), Grisaille (gray), Latte (beige), or Mocha Mousse (brown).
The device operates under the leadership of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, and the model has 8/256 GB of memory (without the possibility of external expansion). All this is housed in a shock-resistant body with protection according to the American military standard MIL-STD-810H. As a bonus, the model received full dust and water protection at the IP68 level. In the mid-range smartphone class, it is unlikely that anyone can offer such equipment.

The Xiaomi 14T smartphone is not positioned as either a gaming or a camera phone. However, it can handle any mobile gameplay and allows for stunning photos (with a steady hand).
At the heart of the model is a powerful yet "cool" MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, manufactured using a 4-nanometer process. The chipset contains one high-performance Cortex-A715 core at 3.35 GHz, a trio of Cortex-A715 cores at 3.2 GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A510 cores at 2.2 GHz. Complementing the picture is the fastest LPDDR5X RAM of 12 GB and the Mali G615-MC6 graphics chip. In practice, the smartphone delivers excellent gaming performance without the slightest sign of throttling, even at high graphics settings.
The smartphone's screen is based on a CrystalRes AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2712x1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The display delivers a maximum brightness of up to 4000 nits (in local mode), supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. On the opposite side of the body, on the panel with four circles of the main camera, the inscription "Leica" proudly stands. In fact, the camera in the device is triple — it consists of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor with optical stabilization, a telephoto lens (also 50 MP), and an ultra-wide (12 MP). On the authoritative resource DxOMark, the rear camera of the Xiaomi 14T is rated 134 points, which fully corresponds to the level of the top Samsung Galaxy S24.
The device's autonomous power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery, supporting 67W wired charging. In concrete terms, the battery can be fully charged in just 45 minutes. The smartphone is equipped with a proprietary IR blaster, "chipped" with an NFC module, given stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. To prevent the device from accidentally drowning due to inattention, the model additionally received a fully dust and water-resistant design with IP68 protection.

The compact "Google phone" Pixel 8a is a real top for its money. The smartphone is made in a recognizable design with a horizontal metal insert on the back edge of the body, where two lenses of the main camera are visible.
The model inherited the cameras from the Google Pixel 7a. Its main image sensor is built on a 50 MP sensor with an optical stabilization system, accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide. These sensors have long established a purely positive reputation — the smartphone takes excellent photos and shoots high-quality videos. A 13 MP front camera is used for selfies.
The smartphone runs on the flagship Tensor G3 chip with a built-in TPU neural coprocessor. The model's operating system is represented by the "purest" Android 14, and the device also has an integrated Gemini Nano neural network. AI functions are related to improving photos and editing videos, on-the-fly translations, and the smartphone features the much-talked-about "Circle and Find in Google" option. As for memory volumes, the Google Pixel 8a has 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 built-in data storage. OS updates for the smartphone are guaranteed for 7 years from release.
The compact "Pixel" uses a 6.1-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution (2400x1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A fingerprint scanner is embedded directly into the screen. The model's body is protected from dust and water according to the IP67 standard — it can be submerged to a depth of up to 1 m for half an hour. Finally, the smartphone's 4492 mAh battery supports wireless charging. However, it charges slowly via wire — the low power level of 18 W affects it.
