Pixel in the seventh edition retained the appearance features of the previous generation, but at the same time significantly increased its hardware power. The model is assembled in a metal case made of recycled aluminium in a recognizable design with a massive panel for the main camera on the back side. A 50 MP main sensor lens with optical stabilization and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens are located on a plate that spans the entire width of the rear part of the body.
Video recording on the main camera of the device is possible in 10-bit HDR mode. The Google Pixel 7 128GB selfie module is built into the island display hole. It has a resolution of 10.8 MP and is complemented by a virtual assistant for frame capture, Guided Frame. The smartphone screen is based on a 6.32-inch diagonal OLED matrix. The image on the display is broadcast in a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, its refresh rate reaches 90 Hz, and the surface of the front panel of the gadget is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus protective glass.
A fingerprint scanner was also built directly into the screen to unlock the smartphone using a fingerprint. The model has advanced communications (Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v 5.2, NFC), stereo speakers and an IP68 waterproof housing. The gadget's 4355 mAh battery supports accelerated wired charging (21 W) and wireless technology for replenishing energy reserves (21 W). The device is powered by the proprietary Google Tensor G2 chipset on the original Android 13 operating system. What’s notable is that the model has built-in technology for a call assistant and an answering machine, Pixel Call Assist, and also has tools for sharpening and removing unwanted objects even from finished photos.

As a workhorse - quite good, quite fast, camera is ok, battery lasts 1.5-2 days. It heats up slightly even when reading the cart. The glass was very disappointing - it scratches very easily, Victus is worse than Cornilla 3 on the previous Sony. Nimble, beautiful, pleasant to the touch. I have been using it for almost a year, before that I had different xiaomis, the last 11t, which was an order of magnitude better in all parameters, only it could overheat in the sun because of the hot processor. google the product, I don’t see other advantages.... like Tesla, the advantage is that Tesla, and everything else is crap) - sometimes shuts down without reason, takes a long time to reboot - charging is very slow, after 120W Xiaomi, these 25-30W... in the first months, I was shocked that it discharges faster than it charges... to charge it from zero takes a couple of hours... And by default, there is some battery life saver that makes it charge even slower, around 3 hours to charge... and if the hotspot is on, it will charge all day and not complete charging - hotspot gives unstable internet and is slower than, for example, the Xiaomi 11T Pro, watching videos online is no more than 720p, only with a cable can you get 1080 (powerful network, LTE, Poland) - hotspot doesn't have the option to share 2.4 or 5, it chooses itself and not always successfully, if the device doesn't support 5, it likely won't connect - technically, at a price of 550 bucks, it loses out in all respects to the Xiaomi which cost 500 a year and a half ago - Android Auto is quite glitchy but there's nothing to compare it to, haven't used it before - the phone case gets very hot but doesn't show an overheating error - doesn't accept other cables and chargers, specific ones need to be selected cautiously. Tried a Baseus with [censored] fast charging and it worked, but all the chargers and cables I had before, including Xiaomi, don’t charge it... - camera is okay, but again, from 2 years ago, the Xiaomi for the same money photographed no worse.... and the Mi Note 10 Pro bought 5 years ago at 108MPX was better)) - the in-screen fingerprint sensor is complete trash, works 1 out of 5 times. The smartphone is compact, fits nicely in the hand, and the quality of materials is excellent.
Updated to Android 15 right out of the box.
Cons: battery lasts up to a day (around 7-8 hours of active screen time).
And not a large selection of cases.
