A monitor with a 27-inch FullHD screen produced by Acer is a gaming solution at the junction of the entry-level and mid-price categories. The model has a laconic thin-frame design and includes a remote power supply (makes the case neater) and a simple stand that adjusts only the tilt angle of the display. Interfaces that are familiar today are offered for connection, namely HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort v 1.4.
The Acer Nitro QG270S3BIPX monitor is based on an all-8-bit VA matrix, which, with a modest level of detail (pixel size 0.31 mm), boasts high-quality contrast ratios (3000: 1) and decent color rendition (95% coverage of sRGB space is declared). As a result, watching a movie will provide only pleasant impressions. The peak brightness value does not exceed the standard 250 nits, so HDR support in this case is rather formal. The gaming focus of the model is confirmed by AMD FreeSync technology, high Hertz (180 Hz) and fast matrix response (1 ms MPRT and 4 ms from gray to gray). Before purchasing, please note that the display is not compatible with the VESA wall mounting system.
