I bought an ASUS RT-AC68U router on February 24, 2020, then in the 14th year in the online store, the socket bought the Asus RT-N14U model, I decided to give it to my parents, and the router to my apartment. And so ASUS RT-AC68U or AC-models of the Taiwanese manufacturer, which boasts the highest possible data transfer rate of 1900 Mbps. A powerful dual-core processor from Broadcom, 256 MB of RAM and two separate chips for each of the network bands allow you to count on stable operation. I also note the presence of four gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB connectors and a number of useful proprietary technologies + I connected an SSD drive for media files, everything works +5. This router was installed at work, in a room where 6 people use it. The range is good, even after two, although non-capital walls, the signal is stable. In the 5 GHz band, it works fine, no complaints, but with 2.4 GHz, not everything is so good, employees complain about constant freezes when loading pages. We tried to set up different channels, still did not achieve any improvements, maybe something needs to be done with the firmware. As a result, those who were on 2.4 GHz were switched to cables, everything is ok there. In general, I think that for the money you could take something better.
