I am engaged in the repair and maintenance of precision mechanics and I simply need such a tool. I actually had it, but the cheap Chinese analogue of the Dremel is not suitable for professional work. Therefore, he held out for about 9 months and died from a short circuit in the motor windings. So I was going to buy a Dremel to replace him, but in the end I bought Bosch. It's funny, but later I found out that both brands have the same owner, the Bosch concern, and compete with each other very conditionally. I would even say that this is not competition in the full sense of the word, but rather the creation of parallel product lines in order to gain a larger market share. In any case, the Bosch GRO 10.8 V-LI Professional and the Dremel 8200 are similar. Equipped with a powerful and high-speed electric motor, the rotation speed of which can vary from 5000 to 35000 rpm. Good for cutting, grinding and drilling. It has a built-in LED light that turns on and off in sync with the engine. It is powered by a decent capacity lithium-ion battery, which is convenient, since the absence of a wire makes working with it more comfortable. An excellent LED indicator that shows not only the battery charge (its four states), but is also able to signal overheating and overload of the tool. And this is very correct, because I can still feel the overheating with my hand, then it is simply impossible to objectively evaluate the overload. Cool case. I took a complete package with a charger and a battery, because these most important parts are not included in the minimum package (!). The shaft stop button, in my opinion, is not made very well. First, my partner simply mistook it for a backlight switch and tried to press it with the engine running. And secondly, it is too soft and you can press it accidentally. Conversely, the engine start button is too tight (but I hope it will be developed). |
Do you want to buy obviously high-quality and reliable tool? Then you to Bosch. The GRO 10.8 V-LI Professional is a powerful engraver, unencumbered by the attachment to the outlet, which will solve many household problems, and also help to unleash the creative potential of the young master.
Mobile and performant
The model, as you already understood, is rechargeable, while being compact, but powerful, as it allows you to use not only a 10.8 V battery, but also a 12 V one. already fully equipped with two batteries, which is very convenient and allows you to work without interruption for recharging. The remaining charge indicator will help determine when to replace the power supply.
The speed of rotation of the shaft is regulated using a 6-position wheel from 5000 to 35000 rpm and these parameters are enough for all possible operations that can be carried out by an engraver — cutting, grinding, milling, polishing and drilling even in hard-to-reach places.
Nothing extra
As for the nozzles, the manufacturer did not bother and included only a cutting wheel in the kit, but put a case for accessoriesso that everyone could fill it himself at his own discretion.
Given the mobility of the device, there is no need for a tripod with a flexible shaft, for that there is a diode backlight, which certainly will not hurt.
For the minimum configuration, Bosch puts up a price tag of $120. Given the interchangeability of batteries, the ability to purchase only the tool itself will please many who already have the appropriate equipment from other manufacturer's battery equipment. Not happy with the price. Moreover, for less money you can take, for example, such a Dremel in a complete set, also with nozzles.
