A representative of the mid-price segment, the 27-inch monitor from Dell is a universal “workhorse” that is suitable for typical office tasks and more. The model is declared safe for vision, which is confirmed by the TÜV Rheinland certificate. The ComfortView Plus feature is implemented here, which by default reduces blue light, maintaining a realistic and believable image. The Dell SE2723DS monitor has an IPS matrix with QuadHD resolution (2560x1440 pixels) and a pixel size of 0.23 mm.
The picture is distinguished by wide viewing angles, which, together with a thin frame, favorably affects the possibility of collective viewing. Image brightness is increased slightly, so that the peak value reaches 350 nits, and there is also decent color reproduction with 99% coverage of the sRGB space. For user convenience, the usual tilt adjustment is complemented by the ability to change the screen height (within a range of 10 cm). By the way, after productive work, the model can be used for casual games, because it offers a slightly increased “Hz” (75 Hz) and a fairly fast response (4 ms). Among the pleasant little things, we note that on the back of the stand there are a pair of holders for laying wires and maintaining order in the workplace.
A bad monitor without any obvious critical jambs. Chosen for work with photographs, design, cartography in decals. Overall, this monitor is great for the price.
But do not forget to take into account that 2k resolution requires appropriate hardware, I think you need a video card of at least the RTX2060 level. And here it is 60 hertz, that is, this monitor is not for cyber cutlets that need to be smeared with 144 fps and higher.
