The best phone in my experience. Balanced characteristics, chic stereo sound, for photos, music and work - that's it. And most importantly - it's a clean system with long-term support. After using the Pixel XL (a six-year-old phone that is better than any budget phone) and the Pixel 3a XL, I understand that this is truly the best line of Android smartphones. Camera, sound, long-term Android support, good autonomy. 3.5mm plug - "thank you" for the mercy of the old believers of wired headphones. It's even hard to say. You can buy a more powerful and cheaper model. But this is a phone for connoisseurs of a clean operating system, a good camera (as practice shows, which is better than marketing "tons of megapixels").
Objectively, there is no microSD support (but I have enough built-in memory) and get ready to accept eSIM. 5G module - a shovel without a handle. In our country, the phone will be garbage by the time the networks are implemented, so I decided to turn it off and I do not recommend anyone to take it just because of this. I chose between the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and Google Pixel 4a 5G for a long time, but the huge price difference and the overpayment for features I didn’t need determined my choice towards Pixel.
And you know what? I really get a buzz from using it, I really want to pick up this smartphone again and again and not release it for as long as possible, it feels like it’s made for people. No unnecessary shells that load the system (pure Android), no glitches or lags, everything works as smoothly as possible, amazing! I can’t even find words about the camera to describe my emotions, here you can see that Google squeezed 105% out of the cameras thanks to artificial intelligence. For social networks, better quality can be said and not needed, at least for such an extra charge (hello to flagships for $1000+). The wide-angle camera regularly helps out. The video writes very cool and smoothly, the microphone deserves special attention, the sound writes pleasant, clean and soft, caresses the ears. Also, 4 video stabilization modes working even at 4k 60fps make this smartphone a great option for video lovers. When you first turned on the smartphone, 113 out of 128 gigabytes of memory were free. After installing updates and important applications for me, 107 gigabytes remained. I don’t play games at all, so for music, photos and videos this is more than enough. The battery holds about 11 hours of mixed use: social networks / instant messengers / camera / music / calls and work with documents. Charging from 5% to 100% in 1 hour and 35 minutes. With the release of the Pixel 4a 5G smartphone, turmoil has crept into the hitherto slender ranks of Google phones. And all because the new device has much less in common with the model 4a than with the fifth generation of the Pixel.
