A wonderful phone, like all Pixel devices. I know what I'm talking about since I have a Pixel in my pocket (since 2016, I've replaced the broken screen twice and the battery once), gave my wife a Pixel 4, and just the day before yesterday, received a Pixel 6 256GB from shop.google.com. I managed to catch the last opportunity amid rapidly rising prices and the chance to acquire this marvel. When transferring data via cable from the Pixel 4 and updating the OS, downloading maps to the navigators, etc., the smartphone did heat up significantly (which is not surprising). After completing all settings, I never noticed any overheating. The raised camera block comfortably rests on a finger behind the phone. It's impossible to touch the lens with a finger, and the phone is very securely held in hand. Describing the camera performance of a Pixel, especially the 6 model, is a pointless venture. How can you describe a video shot in 4K resolution at 60 frames/sec with optical stabilization and excellent color reproduction? I was amazed 5 years ago by how the camera worked on the first Pixel. Everything flies. Holds charge decently enough, of course, loses 20-30% of the charge with half a day of active use, but also charges quickly. The fingerprint scanner works very reliably and quickly (I can't understand the complaints in reviews about the scanner quality). A huge storage capacity of 256GB - I uploaded detailed maps of the Northwest and the Baltics in three navigation programs, and used only 17% of the storage. -  Igor Sheronov: use Google Pixel 6 256GB less than month |
Everything else on the phone is at a high level. The screen is very nice, although not premium, it is on par with the Pixel 5A but has 90Hz, just a good normal screen and bright (which the Pixel 4XL lacks). The phone overall is very fast and works stably, has a good camera, more details and light and color compared to the 4XL, the video is a whole different world on par with the iPhone 13. As for the drawbacks, the Wifi and network signal is slightly weaker than on the 4XL, but satisfactory. There are no more drawbacks. At the time of writing this review, the price of a new Pixel 6 is around $350/400 and a used one is around $270/300 and for that money, it’s the best option in my opinion. I bought the phone on February 15, 2023. I read a lot of reviews about it and was worried about details such as: the battery, fingerprint scanner, body heating, and phone size. I don't know what it was like when it launched, maybe there were many problems, but now that I bought it, I haven't noticed any of these problems. I compare it with the Pixel 4XL since I have one on hand. The battery is just amazing, averaging from 7 to 9 hours of screen time without any issues, with 90Hz enabled and a light theme, well done Google, drains only 1% overnight. The fingerprint scanner is very accurate, works 10 out of 10 times even with a screen protector on, although not super fast, it's good. The heat of the body is absurd, you just don't feel it even while playing games every day. The phone's dimensions, for me, it's slightly big on par with the Pixel 4XL, but it's a bit thicker and heavier. With a Spigen case, it weighs 250 grams, it's really a substantial size. However, it's still not as large as phones with 6.7-inch screens. use Google Pixel 6 128GB month or more i recommend it should buy |
