Why do smartphones start to slow down and what amount of RAM is now considered optimal?Let's explore the reasons for the slowdown and the optimal amount of RAM for smartphones
Bought in 2019. After a month of use, there are almost no complaints, it works quickly, takes good photographs, everything you need is there. But there was also a minus - it doesn’t pick up the mobile network very well. Speed, camera, screen. Sometimes loses mobile network. ![]() |
Googlesmartphones have always been reliable and well-made devices. I was previously acquainted with them only in absentia, but I did have a Google tablet from Asus, and my impressions of it are very positive. In addition, I have always liked "pure" Android and on my previous smart, I installed exactly such a custom firmware. The only thing that slightly delayed this purchase was the money. It's an expensive item, but the unexpected bonus at work solved that issue. Top smart, and top in all respects without exception. I'll start with performance. A 4-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz and an advanced video core makes not only the system itself, but also any applications and games work at lightning speed. If you consider that the device still has a good amount of RAM, then you don’t have to worry about performance at all. By the way, this is due in no small part to the system itself – pure Android version 7.1.1. Unlike bulky proprietary shells from other manufacturers, it works very quickly and does not consume a significant share of hardware resources. Excellent cameras, especially the main one. The sound is good. This applies to both music and conversations. The fingerprint scanner is perfect, errors happen VERY rarely. The battery lasts for 1.5 days of normal use or 2 days of economical use. The aluminium body is strong and reliable, but wide. At first it was very inconvenient to operate with one hand, but I got used to it. The weight is also considerable. Not a memory card slot. If there were 64 GB of built-in storage, I wouldn’t say a word, but with 32 GB it’s sad. You have to transfer files via Wi-Fi, but with a 5 Gig home router this can be done relatively quickly and comfortably. |
