To further improve efficiency, about 6% of the total drive capacity was allocated for the SLC cache. The sequential read and write speeds declared by the manufacturer are 500 and 450 MB / s, respectively. It is important to note that this is the ceiling for the SATA3 bus, only M.2 SSD drives supporting the NVMe protocol can provide faster performance. Evolution of Kingston
Ever since the Kingston A400 hit the market in 2017, it hasn't dropped out of the sales charts for a single day. Even when the prices of fast M.2 SSDs dropped noticeably.
