Synthetic composition oil of a strong medium class for year-round use in gasoline and diesel multi-valve power units with and without turbocharging. Liqui Moly Optimal Synth 5W-40 4L lubricating fluid is characterized by excellent washing qualities, stable properties throughout the entire period of use from replacement to replacement, low sulfur content (as a guarantee of environmental friendliness).
The oil shows excellent performance at any time of the year, however, at air temperatures below -25 °C, it begins to lose its fluidity. It has a relatively small list of tolerances (VW 502 00/505 00, Porsche A40, MB 229.3, BMW Longlife-98), but the oil is definitely suitable for east european cars and popular foreign cars of European origin. An additional plus in the Liqui Moly Optimal Synth karma is that it can be mixed with other lubricants of a similar density. The original oil is produced in Germany. One of the main protective elements of the canister is a cork, the colour of which can only be black.

I started using this oil in my 2014 Priora a few years ago. Before that, I tried several of our oils that met the specifications, but they caused oil consumption and an inexplicable knocking noise. With Optimal Sint, everything returned to normal. The oil is excellent, in my opinion, it is completely produced in Germany, with a freezing point of -45 degrees, so there is definitely no need to fear the frosts of the middle zone and it can be used as all-season. I've been filling this oil for the second year now, and the car feels great. I poured it into an old six, produced in 2005, for which our oil was already contraindicated, since it began to burn oil and the exhaust was suspicious. What is especially pleasing is that for a couple of thousand of our wooden ones you can buy real German oil, and not bottled in the CIS under license, like most other oil manufacturers. One of the few German oils that an ordinary Russian worker can afford. Moreover, it was developed taking into account the requirements of our AvtoVAZ, so it is suitable for any Zhiguli model. I am very grateful to this oil for solving several problems at once: oil burning, when I had to carry a canister of oil with me, knocking noises coming from an unknown source, and the dark exhaust, because of which my friends called my car an "antiquated locomotive." The oil is genuinely German, unlike other so-called imports. It almost doesn't burn off, and there is no need to add more from one oil change to the next. The oil level does drop when checked with the dipstick, but it's always within the normal range. There seem to be no drawbacks, at least with this oil, the knocking disappeared, as well as decent oil consumption and black exhaust, which were present with Lukoil's oil.
