A powerful "beast" comes from the Middle Kingdom, ready to impose competition on the entire horde of flagship smartphones of the 2019 model. The model uses the principle of continuity of generations — from the face it is easy to confuse it with OnePlus 6T. The gadget received a 6.41-inch AMOLED screen with a neat waterdrop notch, which occupies about 86% of the front panel area. The fingerprint sensor is hidden directly in the display. Corning Gorilla Glass 6 has been put on guard to protect the screen of the mobile device. A similar protective glass can be seen on the back of the OnePlus 7 8GB/256GB. The top-end Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and a fast 256 GB UFS 3.0 internal storage, gives strength to the smartphone. The "iron" part of the gadget has a fairly good perf...ormance margin for the long term. In the photographic role, the model relies on a pair of a 48 MP Sony IMX586 main sensor with f / 1.6 aperture optics and a 5 MP auxiliary module for various effects in the manner of a colorful background blur. Selfie frames the device “clicks” on the 16 MP front camera. The model was loaded with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an updated vibration motor and a 3700 mAh battery with support for high-speed charging via a USB-C port.

A quality product that is pleasant to show to people when you take it out of your pocket

Great phone for the money. I planned to take the Xiaomi K20 Pro, but I took a one-off 7) I looked through a bunch of reviews, held both phones in my hand. I really liked the screen in VanPlace 7. Nice colors, picture saturation, very deep blacks. Plus, the manufacturer put a film on the screen, I’ve been using it for a month now, and it’s like new. When you take out the memory card, you immediately understand that this is a premium device. The plug is not just rubberized, it has a built-in valve that holds back the water. The phone came with a trigger, which was very nice. The back cover is glossy, it gets matted quite quickly, but is quickly wiped off. Apparently there is some kind of coating. The surprise was the support for all LTE standards that work in the CIS countries. The phone charges very quickly and holds a charge for a long time, at the end of the day there is 30-40% left, with very active use, if used less often, then 50-60%. There is very fast memory of the UFS 3.1 standard, and you feel it in any application, even on your desktop, when everything flies as if it reads your thoughts. The fingerprint scanner is very fast, and it also instantly unlocks your face. The sound from the speakers is pleasant, rich, loud. The camera was a little disappointing, I thought there would be more details, but it’s better than the K20, so I think it’s a good choice. The phone can be connected to a TV or monitor, and play games on the big screen) The software is also very stable, no crutches, sticking or bugs - everything is very clear. I think this phone is the best for the money.
Fast UFS 3.1 memory. Camera with optical stabilization. High quality display. Capacious battery. It charges very quickly, in 50-60 minutes. High-quality and loud sound from the speakers. There is a trigger included. All games fly like crazy, without a single hint of brakes.
The camera is mediocre, lacks sharpness + slightly blurs details around the edges. But at night it takes pictures well, despite all the soap - the picture is bright and correct. The lens probably has a good aperture.

Flagship killer in the middle class

Seeing the OnePlus 7 in the list of mid-range smartphones, many will twist their fingers in surprise. And they will do it right. Moreover, we ourselves broke several copies in this dispute. The fact is that just yesterday it was a full-fledged flagship smartphone, but the price for it is significantly falling and now it can be found on the market for a very attractive $450 – $470. This is a little over our selection threshold, but with the current price decline dynamics, there is a good chance that by the middle of winter the price will drop to exactly $400.

Power like a laptop

Now about the smartphone itself. Externally, OnePlus 7 is very similar to its predecessor OnePlus 6T. It will receive a glass body, a widescreen display with a teardrop notch on top and a dual main camera. Its filling is without any reservations flagship (Snapdragon 855, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB storage) and it will last for years of work without brakes and lags. For this money, this is just a gift, any other model with such a combination will cost at least $600.

Gorgeous display and almost top camera

What follows is no less interesting. At launch, the OnePlus 7 had one of the best displays on the market and received the highest rating from DisplayMate. We are talking about an unusual 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED-matrix manufactured by Samsung with a resolution of 2340x1080. There is also an excellent dual camera, which, in terms of filming quality, is quite a bit behind recognized camera phones like Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10.

Gentleman's set

The list of additional features includes everything you need: NFC chip, transmission of aptX HD audio codecs, 20W fast charging, metal and glass body, surprisingly fast under-screen fingerprint scanner. Only one sad song plays at this celebration of life — OnePlus 7 does not have a separate headphone output, so you will either have to fiddle with USB-C adapters or buy wireless headphones.
