Gaming on-ear headphones from the Barracuda line from the popular company Razer, which, in particular, is famous for products for gamers. And although these particular headphones are distinguished by a rather restrained design, devoid of the brightness characteristic of gaming devices, the recognizable emblem of the manufacturer is still placed on the bowls. First of all, the model is distinguished by the variability of connection methods to the signal source - radio channel, mini-Jack (3.5 mm), USB A or USB-C. At the heart of the Razer Barracuda X headphones are 40 mm dynamic drivers that provide good sound for various musical scenes. The claimed sensitivity is 96 dB, and the nominal impedance is 32 ohms. Supported virtual surround sound format 7.1, which only enhances the effect of immersion in the reality of computer games. After about two years and three months, the plastic on one side completely broke, considering that I was quite careful with it. First there was a crack, then at some point they just broke. I temporarily filled everything with super glue, I'm already looking for a replacement from another brand. Works with both PC and PS, pretty good sound, not felt on the head (you can sit for at least 8 hours and it won't be uncomfortable at all). I've been using the headphones for a year. The headphones are not too heavy, but if you wear them for more than six hours straight, you may feel some fatigue, so it's better to take breaks during use. The actual sound range is 20-22000 Hz, verified using frequency generator websites. The sound is good, and it doesn't feel like the speakers are far away behind a wall. They perform excellently in shooters; you can aim with your ears :) The microphone works well, my friends haven't had any complaints. The advantages include an analog volume control, allowing you to adjust the volume independently of other sound settings, and there's also a physical microphone mute button. The ear pads can be washed in warm water with shower gel, then dried for a day, and they're like new. However, there are issues with the plastic; it's very delicate. A crack appeared on the left ear mount for no apparent reason, and there are also some small scratches on the right ear, but this doesn’t affect functionality. Autonomy is sufficient, around 15 hours of continuous use, and they charge to the maximum in three hours. The operating range is up to 10 meters if you turn away from the dongle with your left ear. The package includes the headphones, microphone, USB-A to USB-C male-male and male-female cables, and some papers. Not the best headphones for their price. Used for a month. Very delicate casing. Dropped once accidentally from 40 centimeters, resulting in 2 cracks. One crack appeared after 2 weeks. Not sure if it's due to the fall or not. Also, volume control stopped working properly. Now, at a certain level, the left ear doesn't work, or the right one. Sometimes neither produces sound. Short connection range of 7 meters and it starts disconnecting. Battery drains quickly. But charging is fast, so that's okay. Price and sound insulation The sound no longer works normally. |
