Optically Tamron 17-70 F2.8 Di III-A VC RXD is built according to the formula of 16 elements in 12 groups. Among them, one hybrid and two cast aspherical elements were tucked into to ensure high image resolution. This lens surprised me with its picture. An excellent picture, the complete absence of vignette or distortion at all focal lengths, gorgeous bokeh, etc. The picture is very bright, lively and voluminous. Amazing contrast and sharpness. What is surprising is a chic stabilizer that adapts to the situation (no kidding). I really like how he shoots during the day, especially indoors. The background blurs into milk, and the image is very sharp even at the widest aperture. Very sensitive, soft, and at the same time fast autofocus. No blunts or twitches. Equally well suited for both portrait and landscape. Not afraid of backlight, and does not limp. This is my first tamron lens, I took a chance after looking at the reviews. I specifically do not write about what is written on the box, such as a thorium coating on the front lens and a processor with built-in intelligence to process an object in the frame and synchronize it with the camera. It's just the best lens in my park of glasses. I carry it anywhere and everywhere. Even when shooting against a bright background - excellent bokeh, with the right rounds. Previously, this was possible only with a fix. The lens is made of plastic, assembled perfectly and very ergonomic. Glad I took the risk. Great picture. Great focus. Excellent stabilizer. Even not very successful frames are perfectly drawn out in Lightroom, due to good sharpness and contrast. I did not notice any distortion, even in difficult shooting conditions.
