It is positioned as an affordable product in the base price category of 2019, focused on use in an apartment, detached house or small office. The TP-LINK TL-WR820N wireless router can become the basis of a Wi-Fi network in the 2.4 GHz band with connection speeds up to 300 Mbps (with the client device supporting MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transfer technology).
This is quite enough for typical home or office tasks, including comfortable surfing, cloud and web services, online gaming, IPTV viewing, IP telephony and video conferencing. Two external antennas provide a signal amplification of 5 dBi, which increases the area of stable coverage and its quality. Up-to-date security protocols will protect your home/office network with wireless traffic encryption and Firewall function. Parental control allows you to limit the time and duration of being on the Internet for certain connected devices. The router is easy to set up, which you can do yourself.
