I do not advise you to buy hard drives from this company at all (most likely the same problems with ssd) Relatively reasonable price Every time there is a reassignment of sectors. This problem is observed only on the hard drives of this company. Many devices have other companies, but there are no such problems, right there in 99% of cases you will get sector remapping (and no, the usage time does not kill the disk, because the same Toshiba with the same use has no problems) ![]() |
I've been using computers for twenty-five years, and this is the first drive that failed on me during use. The interesting part is that I used it relatively little. Prior to this, I had drives from Western Digital, both the Blue and Green series. All of them have been working for more than 5 years, almost every day. This one, however, lasted about two years with inactive use because my primary system is a PC, and the laptop served as an auxiliary system. One day, I noticed that Windows started loading very slowly. Everything works, but it's really slow. It feels like instead of 5400 RPM, the disk is spinning at barely 500 RPM. Meanwhile, the computer is straining to do anything and start up. (No, it's not overheating). I reinstalled the system. It didn't help. I took a disk from another laptop, swapped it and started up. Everything was fine. The speed returned, everything launches, nothing lags. It only worked for about two years. That's really short. The laptop was never dropped and was almost always used in a home environment. So, I wouldn't recommend this HDD, it's very unreliable in my opinion. Got it as part of a laptop Duzhe shvidko died. ![]() |
