I bought a water heater for my small apartment. The main reason for choosing this particular model is its narrow but high body. There are a lot of 80-liter boilers, but only this model has a width not exceeding 35 cm. Well, the Gorenje brand, of course, also contributed to the purchase. I have dealt with the equipment of this brand more than once and almost always it was a positive experience. A rare combination of significant volume and small width. 80 liter volume Good for installation in confined spaces. Compared to most competitors, heats up faster. Water for a "quick shower" is ready for use in about a little more than an hour, and it takes about two and a half hours to reach a maximum temperature of 75 degrees. Good build. Everything is fitted and tightened, nothing dangles and does not play, everything is as it should be. It can be seen that this boiler was produced in Europe, namely in Slovenia. The warranty period is two years for the electrical part and five years for the integrity of the storage tank. Large consumption of electricity. Although, of course, it depends more not on the water heater itself, but on the analysis of hot water. In my case, with a family of 4 people, including a small child, the meter winds about 370-400 kilowatt-hours per month, of which about 250-270 is the consumption of the boiler. It's getting expensive. |
I needed a water heater for production, for the quality control department. To be more precise, in our chemical laboratory. New testing methods required a decent amount of hot water, and in order not to do balancing act with household kettles, and not to pull a gas pipe, it was decided to install a storage electric boiler. Moreover, due to cramped conditions (almost all the walls are occupied by equipment and fume hoods), I had to choose from “thin” models. The Gorenje TGR SUPER SLIM series with a width of 33 centimeters turned out to be the most suitable for these conditions. Quite a lot of hot water. In terms of fifty degrees (this temperature is needed according to the method), about 120-130 liters are obtained. So enough for testing and washing chemical dishes and hands. It’s good that they took the 80-liter model, with such a volume you don’t have to save. There is a special "eco" mode. In this case, the water will only heat up to 55 degrees. At this temperature, scale almost does not settle on the heating elements and the boiler heats up to 55, obviously faster than up to 70 degrees. But we do not use this mode, since then almost all hot water goes to testing. Holds water temperature well. During the night, only 5-6 degrees are lost. Looks strict and beautiful. From zero it heats water quite slowly. If you turn it on in the morning, then hot water will be only for dinner. Therefore, you have to heat a full tank in the evening, and in the morning just warm it up a little. |
