Heavy Duty series generators from the German manufacturer Konner&Sohnen are suitable both for use as a backup power source and for full-time long-term operation. The main thing is to add fuel to the tank in time — in the case of the KS 6102HDE model, this is diesel fuel.
Signature engine
The generator is assembled on a reinforced tubular frame with rubber mounts to reduce vibration and protect against corrosion. The engine for it is manufactured at our own factory and has a high power reserve. The motor is started by an electric starter; in nominal mode, it produces 5 kW of "clean" power. At half load, the unit consumes only 1.15 liters of diesel per hour, i.e. a tank with a capacity of 15 liters is enough for 13 hours of autonomous operation of the device. The lubrication level indicator will help to add oil to the crankcase in time.
Functional assets
The functional assets of the Konner&Sohnen Heavy Duty KS 6102HDE include a useful Preheater option that makes it easier to start the engine on frosty winter days. The generator also has an hour metre, an electronic voltmeter and an intelligent AVR voltage stabilization system. The latter allows you to keep the output voltage at a constant value of 230 V and ensures the "drawing" of the correct sinusoid for the operation of sensitive electronics.
command control centre
The command post for power plant control is formed from two sockets (16 A and power 32 A), an informational LED screen, a 12-volt terminal block, a fuse for sockets and a ground terminal. To complete the picture, the model lacks only transport wheels. However, in case of frequent movements of the unit, they can always be purchased separately.
