This camping tent is designed for four tourists and is an excellent solution for going out of town to nature. Two separate bedrooms, each of which is designed for a couple of people, open onto a spacious high vestibule. Two rooms for two
Among the camping tents of the Czech brand Pinguin, the Base Camp model is one of the most popular, along with another 4-person Interval 4. But the main difference from the latter is the presence of two separate rooms, which makes it a little more versatile in terms of privacy .
Between the sleeping places of the same size (150x230 cm) there is a large and comfortable vestibule. It has a very high ceiling (190 cm) and enough space (150x250 cm) to organize both a storage area and a camping kitchen. The vestibule is equipped with a floor and two entrances, one of which can be easily equipped with a canopy. And the through ventilation system is supplemented by 4 windows for ventilation.
Ready for bad weather
Pinguin Base Camp is a familiar two-layer option. Comfort inside is designed to provide "breathable" textile materials with protective mosquito nets. In turn, the polyester outer tent will take care of protection against moisture (water resistance 4000 mm) and other negative influences. Rugged construction
The tent is stable and holds its shape well due to the well-thought-out 4-arc fibreglass frame. The two main diagonal rods have a thickness increased to 11 mm, and a pair of auxiliary ones — 9.5 mm.
The disadvantages of the model include a large weight (13.6 kg) for its spaciousness.
