The round 42mm smartwatch is the fourth generation of wearable gadgets from Samsung. The model can be attributed to the solutions of the middle price segment, which has acquired good equipment. So, the steel case complies with the military standard MIL-STD-810, the display is covered with protective glass Gorilla Glass DX +, and the water resistance of 5 ATM makes it possible to swim in hours (on fresh water).
Smartwatches Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic 42mm are equipped with a GPS module, Bluetooth v 5.0, NFC (support contactless payment Samsung Pay). The "stuffing" also includes a 2-core Exynos W920 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory, a built-in microphone and a speaker for hands-free calls. To interact with the model, a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED touch screen with high resolution and support for Always on Display is offered.
The device "can" measure pulse, heart rate, pressure, blood oxygen saturation, track sleep and stress levels, and keep a women's calendar. Fans of sports and training are offered 90 sports modes, and music lovers - a built-in player. Autonomy depends on the intensity of use and ranges from 40 hours to 5 days. I've been a long-time user of Samsung watches!! I've had the sports, gear fit 2 pro, and my most recent were the watch, decided not to go for the 3 because they didn’t appeal to me!! So I decided to upgrade to the 4, and at first, I was as happy as a clam!! Many cool features and programs appeared thanks to Wear OS, BUT then I got to the watch faces!!!! And here came the PAIN AND SORROW! The selection is weak, to install something on the watch, you either have to be a programmer or a shaman with a drum!!! Another downside is the poor quality strap on the watch, feels like a cheap knockoff, not a flagship series watch (in my opinion), the watch had much nicer ones both visually and tactically!!! The battery can also be considered a downside, with active use, it lasts a day (that's in reality, not on paper)!!! And today, on the second day of use, the pedometer froze!!! not even the workout function helped!! So, it has brought both positive and negative emotions!! The new interface is raw!! This is fire!!! Simple human emotions just cannot be conveyed through text. Amazing design, easy to use... they're smarter than us)) they tell you how to connect them themselves. So far, they haven't been tested by time and not thoroughly tested, but the first impressions are something else. They are definitely worth the money. Smart, quality, stylish. A gift from Samsung - charging !! so far they are not :) |

It would have been nice to add body temperature measurement like the competitor from China that starts with the letter X…
Overall, there are mostly positives and only the best impressions from these watches—they are stylish and beautiful with a bright screen. If your phone is Samsung without the PCT version, the ECG and Blood Pressure Measurement functions will not work. There is a solution to this problem on 4PDA.
The only and main downside is the battery life, which is sorely lacking. If everything is turned on, they will last at best only for a day at a stretch. Not to mention the use of sports functions and the player, which will drain the battery even faster...
If you turn off GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, and automatic brightness, they will last for almost two full days at best. Then you're left with two options, either constantly carry a charger with you or turn everything off (but then why pay so much money if you don’t use these features).
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, the only thing spoiling it is the strong battery drain. It drains before your eyes throughout the day... I hope updates will somehow fix this. I really hope so!
