The Chieftec Task series of power supplies is a line of reliable and versatile bronze certified power supplies designed for a wide range of users, including gamers, enthusiasts and office workers. These power supplies are high quality, efficient, and affordable, offering an excellent balance between power efficiency, system reliability, and overall cost. Positioned by the manufacturer as a more affordable alternative to Chieftec Polaris and Chieftec Core power supplies.

The Chieftec Task series includes models with power reserves of 400, 500, 600 and 700 W. The basic 400 W version is more suitable for general-purpose home PCs, office systems and simple gaming PCs equipped with weak but energy-efficient video cards. At the same time, the top-end modification of the Chieftec Task with a power of 700 W is quite suitable as an aspen power supply in a fairly productive gaming PC or entry-level workstation.

All of them meet the 80 PLUS energy efficiency standard, which ensures high efficiency and reduced energy consumption. The fans in these power supplies provide quiet and efficient cooling, maintaining stable operation even under high loads. For safety, undervoltage protection (UVP), overvoltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP) and over temperature protection (OTP) are provided. The cable system includes 24-pin ATX, 4+4 pin CPU, 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors and several SATA and Molex connectors. Unfortunately, the cables are not modular, so you won’t be able to disconnect unnecessary ones.
