Steel giant

Chieftronic SteelPower BDK-650FC is one of the few fully modular power supplies with 80 PLUS Bronze certification. Usually this is the prerogative of more expensive "gold" models. The ease of removal of wires allows you to leave only those that are in demand for your particular PC configuration, and thereby put a marathon inside the case.

vigilant supervision

Built on the CWT GPQ platform with a single-sided layout of electronic components on a printed circuit board and advanced DC-DC LLC output voltage stabilization. The primary capacitor is represented by the premium Japanese Nichicon, and the secondary capacitors are the simpler Chinese ChengX. The Sitronix Supervisor IC provides surge and short circuit protection.

You don't have to worry about overheating either: even with the maximum load of the PSU, the temperature of the PSU does not exceed 50°C. However this is achieved by a noisy fan speed — 2400 rpm. Well, at least up to half the load on the PSU, the hydrodynamic spinner spins at a quiet 700 rpm.

A bunch of video cards

The +12 V and +3.3/+5 V lines deliver 648 and 110 watts, respectively. There are twice as many graphics card connectors as other PSUs of the same power — as many as four pieces.
