Trio of Certificates
The Chieftec Vega M PPG-850-C is a modular power supply unit of ATX 3.1 standard with an 80+ Gold certification, indicating a stable efficiency level of 90 percent under any load. Additionally, it is recognized with Interseroh and TUV Rheinland certifications: the first indicates environmental safety, the second certifies complete compliance with electrical safety standards. The device is equipped with protections against short circuits, overloads, and voltage fluctuations up or down.
Large Propeller
The circuitry is based on LLC Half-Bridge with a resonant circuit, ensuring stable voltage on the +12, +5, and +3.3 V rails. Inside, primarily Taiwanese Teapo capacitors of the high-temperature category 105°C are installed. Cooling is handled by an enlarged Globe Fan with a 13.5 cm diameter featuring a reliable FDB hydrodynamic bearing, backed by a five-year warranty.
Not Afraid of Bad Weather
The Chieftec Vega M is designed for both European power networks with 230 V voltage and American ones with 115 V, supporting the entire intermediate range. This allows the device to operate stably even during significant voltage drops during peak load times. It also includes an electromagnetic interference filter, a soft-start relay, a thermistor for temperature control, and a varistor for protection against power surges, such as those caused by lightning strikes.
