In the range of steam ovens under the sign of the Swedish brand Electrolux, there is a clear species hierarchy. Sub-flagship electric ovens with a built-in steamer are assigned to the SteamBoost family. They allow you to bake and fry dishes in different modes with steam. In total, the devices of the series have three different levels of steam supply.

The Hot Steam mode adds 25% steam to traditional convection heating. This mode is perfect for delicate baked goods with a crispy crust. When you select the "Intensive steam" programme, the built-in steam generator already adds 50% steam. Here the temperature is lower (about 130 °C), and the humidity is higher, due to which excellent conditions for stewing and languishing are achieved. Finally, the 100% Wet Steam mode is perfect for creating a water bath and boiling vegetables with maximum preservation of nutrients.

Electrolux SteamBoost family ovens have three steam cooking modes.

The detachment ovens combine a large volume of the working chamber for baking, the presence of telescopic guides for baking sheets, a temperature probe, and a touch control panel with recessed switches. Models with a retro design use more traditional mechanical switches with a clock face as a timer instead of touch controls.
