The first aspect is responsible for perforated, wider wheels, which, together with the system of front and rear shock absorbers, improve the behavior of the electric scooter on uneven surfaces.

The safety of Kugoo operation is enhanced by a completely non-slip deck surface (the regular S3 had only one rough strip in the center of the board), improved brakes with a recuperation system and various lighting elements for driving in the dark. Its weight has been reduced to 12.5 kg (compared to almost 18 kg), while the engineers managed to maintain the maximum load capacity of 120 kg, and almost the main change was the smaller battery capacity (7.8 versus 15 Ah). But this battery also has a good range of 30 km, plus it charges 2 times faster (in 4, not 8 hours, like the standard version).

The Motus Scooty 10 Lite is convenient to use, because in addition to its low weight, it has a practical folding mechanism. It is stated that the model can be folded in just 3 seconds, and the locking systems prevent accidental folding and unfolding.

The scooter has a powerful 350-watt motor, ready for both fairly heavy riders and moderate hills. There is a completely standard three gears - eco (up to 5 km/h), drive (15 km/h) and sport (up to 20 km/h). Driving safety is ensured by a combined rear brake (disc + electronic) and a set of headlights, brake lights and side reflectors that increase the visibility of vehicles in the dark. Recuperation is also provided to recharge the battery when driving on descents.

Very poor road surfaces may be affected by the lack of shock absorption, but in a typical urban environment, small bumps are smoothed out well by the 10-inch rubber tires. Therefore, Motus Scooty 10 Lite can be considered a balanced personal electric vehicle for the city.

The Gemix brand electric scooter represents the entry-level price segment, and among models designed for users weighing up to 100 kg, it is one of the most affordable on the market. Despite the attractive price tag, it supports a recuperation function, is equipped with an effective disc brake and an informative display that simplifies interaction with the vehicle.

The Gemix GM6 also received fairly large 8.5-inch wheels with inflatable tires, and also has such almost obligatory equipment features as headlights, a brake light, a bell and a running board.

Thanks to the aluminum frame, the electric scooter is not too heavy (12.5 kg) and at the same time quite durable. It also has a folding design, so it will be easy to carry the model in your hand (for example, to bring it into an apartment) and find a suitable storage place for it.

The scooter is driven by a powerful 350-watt electric motor, which is capable of quickly accelerating and maintaining a speed of up to 25 km/h. Users also have access to other riding modes (three in total) for different application scenarios, including leisurely riding in the park.

Here, instead of an indicator display, a full-fledged on-board computer is proposed, showing the current speed and other information, including the battery charge level. There are also three driving modes instead of two: energy-saving (pedestrian), standard and sport (it reaches a maximum speed of 25 km/h).

The electric scooter has rubber wheels with a diameter of 8.5 inches. They are not cast, but inflatable. You will need to monitor the pressure level in them and pump them up, but now the model, even without shock absorbers, will please you with quite comfortable movement over small bumps and paving slabs.

Xiaomi Scooter 1S has a similar design to its ancestor, weighs the same 12.5 kg, and has an aluminum alloy frame. There is also a 250-watt electric motor and the usual dust and moisture protection (class IP54).

The convenient folding system has not disappeared anywhere either. When folded, the model is very compact and fits into the luggage compartment of an average sedan. And the assembly/disassembly process takes a few seconds.

The 7.8 Ah battery capacity is enough for a 30-kilometer ride. In standard mode (at a speed of up to 20 km/h), a rider weighing about 80 kg is able to come close to these passport data. The maximum user weight is 100 kg and the lifting angle is 14°. It takes less than 5 hours to charge the battery.

The rear disc brake is complemented by a manual one - regenerative, designed to extend the life of the battery. And this combination copes well with effective braking. Among other safety systems, it is worth highlighting lighting with an LED headlight and brake light, as well as additional reflectors in case the battery runs low.

Thanks to Bluetooth support, it is possible to integrate Xiaomi Scooter 1S into the Mi Home eco-system. The application of the same name provides extended trip statistics, there is a function for cruise control, scooter locking, and settings for the degree of energy recovery. If this is not enough, then it is easy to find various custom firmware.

Another argument in favor of the model is its compatibility with most of the accessories of its popular predecessor, of which there are really many, including designer grips, mounts for smartphones or even saddles.

The Tokio brand electric scooter is suitable for experienced riders and all those who appreciate a frisky and fairly fast ride. A 350-watt motor is installed here, the power of which rises to 470 W at peak loads. Thanks also to this (as well as the durable frame), Tokio 0809 Pro is able to withstand a 120-kilogram user, is ready to ride uphill with an inclination angle of 15 degrees and accelerate to a speed of 30 km/h.

In total, Tokio 0809 Pro supports 3 driving modes and cruise control, with which you don’t have to constantly “press on the gas”. Lighting includes a standard 2-watt headlight and brake light. A small but informative round display complements the ability to connect to a smartphone. In the mobile application, among other things, you can lock the scooter.

The model weighs only 12 kg and is equipped with a folding system, so carrying it into an apartment or public transport should be easy. Among the “lightweights”, the model is notable for its rather large power reserve. Although a full power cycle of a 10 Ah battery will take about 6 hours, after that it will be possible to cover a distance of 35 km. As practice shows, middle-weight riders can quite count on an honest 30 km.

Separately, it is worth highlighting the high-quality moisture protection class IP56, with which there is no need to worry about heavy rainfall or even moderately deep puddles.

The chassis includes 8-inch pneumatic wheels, a combined braking system (drum + electric with energy recovery function) and front suspension. The shock absorber does a good job of absorbing shocks and vibrations coming from the steering wheel. It also partly compensates for not the largest tires, although a few extra centimeters would still not hurt, because the ground clearance here is clearly too small - 5.5 cm. Therefore, it is better to avoid serious unevenness and pronounced differences in the road surface.

In any case, Tokio 0809 Pro is an interesting solution with a good balance of weight, power and speed.
