The new 4 nm process is nice. It feels like you are working on modern hardware, which will be relevant for a long time. The memory controller here is clearly better than in the 7000 series, and this is noticeable in the stable operation. True, I do not climb above 6000 MHz, but at this level everything works perfectly.
When I bought it, I got a promotion + there were bonuses from previous purchases, so it came out at the same price as the 7700x. The only caveat is that I had to update the BIOS on the motherboard, but these are minor things, I still had to update it so that everything worked at full capacity.
I use a cooler because I don't like water. Water in a computer is a nightmare.
