When it comes to plumbing and everything connected with it, I always try to do everything as reliably as possible. I do not like any plumbing problems and I am especially afraid of leaks. This is probably why, when buying a water heater, he did not spare money and bought this expensive model with a stainless steel tank. My logic was this - stainless steel cannot corrode in water, which means that no anodes are needed and maintenance will also be easier. You already understood that I was deceived with the anode, it is still there. It turns out that the stainless steel itself really stands well in hot water, but its welds can corrode. This is primarily due to the fact that steel is used the cheapest and low-grade, something like our X13. And when welding, the seams can really be depleted of chromium and, after that, rust fun. To begin with, it has a proprietary two-year warranty on the electrical part and a seven-year warranty on the tank. Nice numbers to say the least. It has two heating elements and two heating levels. The first gives a power of 1000 watts, the second adds the same amount and the total power is equal to 2 kilowatts. At the first stage, it heats up for a long time, about more than three hours, but at the second stage, after an hour and forty, the water is hot. It has good thermal insulation, that is, heat loss is small. Cool control with convenient switch, thermostat control and digital inductor thermometer. There is a safety shutdown device. In general, if you do not pay attention to the trick with seams and a magnesium anode, then the water heater is chic. High price, stainless steel and still need additional protection in the form of a magnesium anode. And for electronic control, it is recommended to use a stabilizer. But I don’t seem to have any voltage jumps, so it’s fine without it. |
If I were to describe it in one sentence, it would be, "A fast, powerful, and adequately capacious water heater for a young couple." A 50-liter capacity is enough for two people if you use the shower without excess. In fact, I've measured several times and confirmed that 20-25 liters of warm water is enough for a normal shower. I set our water heater to the economy mode, meaning the water heats only up to 55 degrees. So, you still need to dilute it, and to get 25 liters of warm water, it uses about 17-18 liters of hot water from the heater. In total, two showers need about 35 liters. With a capacity of 50 liters, there's still about 5-6 liters of hot water left for the kitchen, but then the temperature starts to drop sharply. Fortunately, the heating element in this model is powerful, two kilowatts, and 50 liters of cold water turn hot, reaching 55 degrees, in less than an hour. The heating control is electronic, and the device displays the temperature with a full-fledged LED display rather than an abstract arrow like budget models. In addition to the usual protection against pressure and overheating, there's a safety shut-off device that activates if the heating element's insulation is compromised. So, this water heater definitely won't give us an electric shock. The digital thermometer shows slightly higher temperatures by about 3-5 degrees. I specifically took out my certified mercury thermometer to compare the readings. Quick heating does not work in ECO mode; by default, only one heating element is turned on, and the heating time increases to two hours. |
Хорошо и быстро греет большой объем воды, поддерживает заданную температуру, легко монтируется, хорошо выглядит, надежная и безопасная Ежегодно надо ее проверять (не недостаток,конечно, но это надо отметить) use Electrolux EWH 100 Centurio DL H more than year |
