An elegant, energy-efficient and reliable storage water heater with an enameled tank with a volume of 80 liters, a pair of "dry" heating elements and an intuitive electromechanical control system. The manufacturer is positioned as a model of the upper price category, which is designed to serve the hot water needs of a small family of 2-3 people. Mounted vertically on the wall, it can work for several points of analysis, simultaneously supplying the bathroom, shower room and kitchen.
Unlike most low-cost models with cylindrical tanks, this unit uses a flat design tank, which provides a shallower cabinet depth for installation in rooms with limited free space. The rotary mechanical switch allows you to step-by-step adjust the power of the heating elements (800/1200/2000 W), to increase the heating rate or improve energy efficiency. At the highest possible power, it takes less than 3 hours to heat 80 liters of water from 20 to 75 °C.
ECO mode is supported with a maximum temperature of 55 °C to reduce heat loss and minimize scale formation. The durable enameled inner tank is additionally protected against corrosion by a large sacrificial magnesium anode. Protection against overpressure, overheating and current leakage is provided (residual shutdown device that de-energizes the water heater when voltage hits the steel case).
Always clarify the specifications and configuration of the product with the online store manager before purchasing.

Works for more than 3 years 3 heating modes. Dry elements, haven't replaced them yet. Not mentioning ![]() |
On the eve of the summer season of turning off hot water, I took care of buying a high-quality boiler. I took an 80-liter Electrolux, because the brand is well-known, although not cheap. It works almost silently and gives a lot of water. True, a completely cold tank heats up for a long time, but the situation when you need to heat it completely from scratch does not happen so often. You can adjust the power of the heaters. The choice is small - 800 or 1200 W, but it is there and this cannot but rejoice. When I am alone at home or when the boiler is in standby mode, I turn on the power of 800 watts. This saves energy and reduces the load on the power grid. Again, when there is no need for a large amount of hot water, you can use the built-in economy mode. Then the temperature of the water in the tank will not exceed 55 degrees and the power consumption will drop even more. But you need to understand that for a shower for two, water heated in an economical mode is just enough. Simple control. Everything is in order with safety - there are three levels of protection for the water heater: from high pressure, from overheating and switching on a dry tank. Long water heating. A full cold tank heats up to a maximum of more than three hours. Even for a 100-liter model, this is far from a brilliant indicator, and even more so for an 80-liter one. It is clear that this was done in order to save electricity and reduce the formation of scale, but still - making the client wait for more than three hours is not a good idea. In my opinion, the price is somewhat too high. |
One of the worst models! Unfortunately, I trusted the company as one of the most reliable. This is already my third Electrolux boiler. The first was good, worked for about eight years, but I didn’t manage to replace the anode, and unfortunately, it started leaking, manufactured in Italy. The second boiler was also from Electrolux, but this time it was made in Spain; it worked for about five years when the tank burst, and I had to discard it. We purchased a third boiler, the Electrolux EWH 50 Formax, and it lasted only a year and a half. The same issue occurred; the tank burst, and the neighbors downstairs said “Thank you,” and my family was in shock. I was forced to use Electrolux because of the niche sizes. Unfortunately, another boiler wouldn't fit. We have another Electrolux boiler at home with a 100-liter capacity, but it’s already over twenty years old and is a real workhorse, Swedish made. Gentlemen, draw your own conclusions about whether you need such happiness or not. The Electrolux company has been ruined as much as possible! While Sweden was producing the equipment, the quality was excellent, but now it's just wasted money. Loved it when it was new! Leaked after a year and a half. ![]() |

The Electrolux name on the product is already half the guarantee of its reliability and quality. The EWH Formax 80 water heater provides traditionally high technological and functional indicators for the Swedish brand.
Top class construction
Stylish modern design leaves no one indifferent. A design feature of Formax 80 is a welded rectangular tank with two "dry" independent heating elements with a total power of 2 kW. The shape of the tank allows the heater to be successfully placed in any environment, both vertically and horizontally, and the mechanical control is reliable and easy to use. The water temperature is adjustable from 30 to 75 degrees using a three-stage regulator. There is an economy mode.
Unsurpassed protection
The EWH Formax 80 internal tank is made of high-strength alloy and fibreglass, has a multi-level tank protection against leaks Protect tank and a magnesium anode of increased mass, preventing corrosion and increasing the service life. The manufacturer gives a 7-year warranty on the tank!
The device is equipped with a boil prevention system. A full tank heats up in 2 hours 57 minutes, and thanks to a 22 mm layer of polyurethane foam thermal insulation, it keeps the temperature constant for a long time without significant fluctuations. The heating power control function (800/1200/2000 W) allows the device to be used in electrical networks with limited possibilities.
EWH Formax 80 is a high-quality reliable water heater, but for such a price it could heat up a little faster!
