Galmet Neptun2 Kombi 80 is a 2-in-1 combined water heater with a heat exchanger and two “dry” heating elements. The main water heating is carried out from a boiler, fireplace or solar system, and auxiliary heating is carried out from the household electrical network.
Excellent thermal insulation
The cylindrical body of the boiler contains a spiral heat exchanger with an area of 0.6 m². Its surfaces are coated with titanium-cobalt enamel to protect against corrosion. The inner walls of the 80-liter tank are covered with a similar material. The tank is also insulated with 40mm thick high-density polyurethane foam to minimize heat loss.
"Dry" heating elements
A combination of two dry heaters consumes up to 1600 W of power. Their insulation from water prevents the formation of limescale, ensuring efficient heat transfer. The boiler can heat cold water by 35 °C in an hour and a half.
Simple mechanical control
The water heater control is simple and mechanical; the model also has protection against overheating and overpressure. The boiler is supposed to be installed in a vertical position. The case dimensions (92x48x48 cm) require sufficient space. Galmet Neptun2 Kombi 80 is great for private houses and apartments with autonomous heating, but the cost of this model may be above average.
