I have long wanted to purchase a normal set of tools with which you can fully service your own car. In addition, the son bought a used scooter, which also requires regular manipulation. I thought that I would have to pay a lot of money for such a package, but it turned out that Intertool kits are very affordable in price, which is good news. Like it or not, buying such an extensive set for only $37 is, in my opinion, a great success. Yes, this is not a professional and, one might say, a low-cost tool, but this is enough for me, I am not going to arrange a conveyor in my personal garage). The set includes 16 sockets with a half-inch square and a dozen with a quarter-inch. They come with two good ratchets with comfortable rubber handles and latches, two half-inch extensions (125 and 250 mm) and one quarter-inch (75 mm long). There is also a very decent set of a wide variety of bits, there are slotted, Phillips, four-, hex and even a Torx asterisk. A screwdriver handle with adapters is also available. The tools are made from conventional hardened carbon tool steel, and chrome plated gives them a nice appearance. Molding quality on the heads is far from perfect. Some edges are noticeably thinner than the neighboring ones, that is, with excessive force, there is a real chance that the head will burst. The suitcase is quite durable, but the quality of processing of stamped plastic parts and plastic is questionable. I bought the set seven months ago, but the nasty plastic smell is still distinctly audible. |
