Socket heads for all types of work
The Ukrainian-made set is equipped with 13 ½-inch hex sockets from 10 to 32 mm, which are very useful when repairing the chassis, replacing the wheel or silent blocks. In addition, there are 13 hex sockets for ¼ inch from 4 to 13 mm, as well as two spark plug sockets for 16 and 21 mm. To work with them, two ratchets ¼ and ½ inch for 72 teeth are provided, covered with anti-corrosion polypropylene and equipped with a quick release button for nozzles. And if you need to get to a “hard-to-reach” place or apply more force when unscrewing the bolt (for example, when removing the hub), then you can use rigid extension cords of 250, 125, 75 mm, as well as a flexible extension cord of 150 mm and a tap wrench.
Let's go anywhere
For unscrewing screws, the set includes three Phillips and two flathead screwdrivers, as well as three sets of bits of 6 pcs, including crosshead, hex, flathead and star bits. To work with them, an adapter (adapter) is provided that is installed on a reverse ratchet with a ¼ inch seat. And with the help of a ⅜ inch to ½ inch adapter and an extension cord, you can assemble a power wrench. Where it is impossible to crawl with a socket wrench, a set of combined (open-end-cap) wrenches from 8 to 19 mm (the most common size), as well as two universal joints with a rotating head, are used. There is a lack of a balloon wrench in the set, which could greatly simplify the replacement of the "reserve".
Pliers for various bolt shapes
A pleasant moment is the presence of adjustable 250 mm pliers in the kit, with which you can unscrew the bolts with different head shapes and even round ones (for example, on the steering panel in the VAZ 2114). In addition, the kit includes standard 180mm pliers and a 300g fibreglass hammer. And three L-shaped hexagons will be useful not only in car repairs (for example, for tightening oil-resistant hose clamps), but also for assembling furniture and repairing a bicycle. The whole set is housed in a case, which is equipped with aluminium corners and latches that are more durable than plastic ones.
