We bought this set together with my father, in a clubbing. Bought with the expectation that his tools will help solve all our tasks, both in housework and in the maintenance of our two cars. I can say that the calculation fully justified itself, the set is really very good and definitely worth the money paid for it. Of the universal tools, the most useful are screwdrivers, of which there are as many as 4 pieces, pliers, a wonderful hammer with a super-comfortable rubberized handle and a set of bits. I especially want to note the huge number, variety of sizes and shapes of those same bits. The kit includes regular and thicker versions. Ordinary, together with a handle for nozzles and an adapter, make it possible to obtain different screwdrivers of the most common sizes: slot, PH cross, Torx star and hex. If the screw / screw sits very firmly, then by combining a thicker bit, an adapter and a ratchet key, you can get a tool with a large leverage and, as a result, a large force on the bit. The main thing here is not to overdo it and not to break the rifling on the head of the screw / screw. Don't worry about the bits, they are made of durable carbon steel that has undergone additional thermal hardening by hardening and it is not easy to damage them. For garage work, socket heads of different sizes (from 4 to 32 mm) came in handy. Together with the already mentioned ratchet and extensions, they allow you to unscrew anything. There are also classic open-end spanners included. The candle wrench showed itself well, with a special rubber insert. I liked the plastic case with reinforced corners and metal latches. The price is still high. Not all tools are held firmly in the case, some large sockets fall out. Surprisingly, among the 42 complete bits, there is not a single PZ standard. It is not clear why the manufacturer ignored this point. |
A large set is a great gift for a car owner
Intertool ET-7119 is a big set. It has 119 items. Most of them are a variety of interchangeable nozzles for tightening and unscrewing fasteners. These include: 43 bits of all common types (flat, Phillips, hex and sprockets), 28 hex sockets for ordinary bolts and nuts, and 8 E-profile sockets (they are necessary to work with many modern cars). These attachments come with two ratchet wrenches and a screwdriver handle. In addition to them, the set contains 16 open-end wrenches ranging in size from 6 to 27 mm, 4 screwdrivers (a pair of long and a pair of short ones), a hammer, pliers and adjustable pliers. There are also two heads for twisting and twisting candles in engines. Since the parts of modern cars are “packed” very tightly, and there is not enough space between them, various extension cords (rigid and flexible), universal joints, adapters and knobs are all included in the kit to work with the machines.
Tools for car mechanics
Although the Intertool brand is considered “low-cost”, it also has products designed for professional car mechanics. This kit also belongs to it (as well as Intertool ET-6108, Intertool ET-7176, Intertool ET-7151 and a couple of other kits). Such sets can be distinguished by black cases with metal locks and reinforced corners. Unlike "household" kits (they are sold in green suitcases), "professional" Intertool tools are not made in China, but in Taiwan. They are manufactured from high-alloy chrome-vanadium steel with careful machining. The quality of these tools is top notch. Small details are especially pleasing: ratchet ratchets work like a watch, polypropylene handles provide comfortable work in the cold, heads are made with high precision and do not “walk” on their landing squares. Therefore, the Intertool ET-7119 set is not at all ashamed to be presented as a gift to a loved one or bought to please a loved one.
