Monitor LG 34UM69G

Ultra-wide monitor with a 34-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9. It is positioned as an advanced product of the 2018 model year with support for FreeSync technology, designed for home and office use. The screen of the device has not quite the usual proportions and physical dimensions, it is convenient for working in several applications at the same time and watching cinema-quality video materials in the original format.

The screen is made on the basis of a high-quality pseudo-eight-bit matrix (6-bit + FRC) of the AH-IPS type with a W-LED backlight and a resolution of 2560x1080. Flicker-Free-backlight does not have the characteristic high-frequency flicker that causes premature eye fatigue. The matrix of the LG 34UM69G monitor provides 99% coverage of the sRGB colour space, a good maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a standard static contrast ratio of 1000:1.

Comfortable vertical and horizontal viewing angles are maximum and reach 178 degrees. The minimum response time of the matrix is 5 ms, which allows the monitor to be used both for watching dynamic video with a high frame rate and for computer games. Equipped with a built-in stereo system with a power of 2x5 W. To connect to a signal source (PC, laptop, media player, etc.) there are three digital interface ports DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C (video signal).

Почему то такие суперширокоэкранные телевизоры позиционируются именно как игровые. Мол смотрите как круто выглядит на таком экране какая-то отдельно взятая игра. Но соотношение сторон 21:9 поддерживается далеко не всеми современными играми. Скажу больше, в некоторых оно специально заблокировано, потому что могло бы дать игроку серьезное преимущество в обзоре. Я тоже иногда играю, но трачу на это не больше 3-4 часов в неделю. Широченный экран мне нужен для работы и этот монитор мне подошел просто идеально.

Работает в мультимониторной конфигурации в качестве основного. Высокое разрешение по горизонтали позволяет держать открытыми два больших окна основных приложений, а еще два открыты на вспомогательном мониторе. Фактически этот монитор заменяет два. Диагональ большая 86+ сантиметров. Отдельный пикселы довольно крупные и мне это тоже по душе. Ведь при этом шрифты, линии, элементы интерфейса не мельчат и можно позволить себе сесть подальше от монитора. Поскольку этот монитор позиционируется как игровой, то у него очень быстрое переключение, то есть малое время отклика. Даже быстрое движение он передает максимально четко и без смазывания. Цвет суперский, углы обзора замечательные, контраст и яркость тоже не подкачали. Сейчас монитор подключен через DisplayPort. Но у меня есть планы по покупке MacBook Pro и тут под него уже есть USB Type C с возможностью передачи видео.

IPS матриц без glow-эффекта не бывает. Есть он и тут, как обычно, наиболее заметен при просмотре под углом. Неравномерность подсветки, особенно заметная слева в низу. Нужно добавить, что заметна она только на полностью черном фоне в затемненной комнате.

No wonder I did not rush to switch from my old 22-inch monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050 to a regular FullHD. The difference in resolution is small, so there was little point. A completely different thing is the transition to 2560x1080 with a diagonal of 29 inches. In this resolution and screen size, it is convenient to work and many games look great. I often use my home computer for work, and since I work, usually with texts on web pages, Google documents and Word, the benefits of a wide screen can hardly be overestimated. I just open two, often three, and sometimes four windows and all the necessary materials are right at my fingertips. Everything is clearly visible, up to the last comma, apostrophe and hyphen. I note that for such work it is important to correctly adjust the brightness and contrast of the screen. After all, the rich and bright settings of this monitor "out of the box" burn out the eyes like the light of an electric arc. But it is worth reducing the color temperature, removing half the brightness, reducing the contrast and you can sit at the monitor for hours without looking up. Separately pleased with the price. For such a huge and high-quality screen, this money is not at all a pity.

There is no height adjustment, there is only an adjustment of the screen tilt angle in the transverse plane. Since, for convenience, I still really wanted to raise the screen, I had to make a "stand-under-stand")) The glossy case cannot be touched with your hands, a trace remains even from a light touch, and removing it later is another hemorrhoids. There is uneven illumination, which, however, still needs to be tried very hard to see.

На Я маркете та же модель описывается (в фото и отзывах) как с подставкой регулируемой по высоте, кто же где ошибся, кому верить?

Пробовал так сделать, но почему-то только зарядка идёт. Кто-то сталкивался с таким?
Если нет, то какие переходники с usb-c на HDMI/DP можете предложить?

Всем добрый день, подскажите есть точно такой же монитор только с приставкой В.
Т.е. Полное его название LG 29UM69G-В он чем то отличается от этого монитора ?
