The main differences from the S10 Plus are the reduced bottom and top bezels of the display, as well as a more powerful processor. The front camera has become more compact. Unlike the S10 Plus, there is no 3.5mm jack. Display refresh rate 120 Hz.

When buying a smartphone, there were no expectations of a revolutionary technological leap forward with this model. I won't lie, the phone is very good, and an ordinary user might even say it's the best phone. BUT! These are TOP SMARTPHONES, and when paying such a price for a phone, you want it to be 100% perfect! Now, in order: 1. Due to the fact that the smartphone has practically no bezels, it feels quite comfortable in hand despite its nearly 7" size (tablets used to be 7 inches =)); 2. For content consumption, starting from the diagonal and 120 Hz display with HDR10+ mentioned above, it is ideal, I even felt like my eyes were getting less tired; 3. Exynos in a flagship...seriously? Give us TOP processors in top smartphones!; 4. Many criticize the camera, saying it has a lot of noise, doesn't perform well in night mode, and has poor focus. People, seriously? This is a phone, not a top-tier DSLR! And besides, this smartphone is in the TOP of DxOMark, I don't think it got there just like that. The photos for Instagram come out great. This phone also has its "skeletons in the closet," but show me at least one perfect smartphone without a single flaw! Appearance, screen quality 120Hz! , camera, sound. Price. For such a price, they could have delivered a TOP processor and realized a longer life from a single battery charge. Dynamic AMOLED screen
The main difference between the “plus” version of the smartphone and the base one lies in the size of the case and, of course, the diagonal of the screen. The gadget uses a run-in technique with curved display sides and a hole in the upper segment for a 10 MP front camera lens. Backlog for the future
Inside, as expected, there is hardware with a solid power reserve for the long term: a 7-nanometer Exynos 990 chipset (or the 865th dragon in the version for the US market), 8/12 GB of RAM and a fast UFS 3.0 internal drive with a volume 128 GB. All this wealth, along with a capacious battery (4500 mAh), an NFC chip and an under-screen fingerprint sensor, is packed in a glass case with a claimed degree of water protection IP68.
Golden mean
The absence of a separate headphone output can spoil the impression of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, so you will either have to fiddle with USB-C adapters or buy wireless headphones. However, more and more smartphones are following this path every day. Much more interesting are the photographic ambitions of the flagship. The smartphone was armed with a 12 + 12 + 64 + 0.3 MP quad camera. There is no longer a variable aperture lens in its design, which is compensated by the large physical dimensions of the leading image sensor. Also, the main photomodule of the device was taught to shoot video in 8K resolution (with a frame rate of 30 fps). The model is located exactly in the middle between the base Galaxy S20 and the ultra-charged Galaxy S20 Ultra. Both in terms of on-board equipment, and in terms of cost.
There is a modification with support for 5G communication. However, 5G does not work in the CIS countries, which at the beginning of 2020 makes this feature useless for residents of the CIS.
