Premium model with ultra-high resolution 4K screen, suitable for graphics, media consumption and office use. The monitor screen is inscribed in a frame of thin frames, which increases the attractiveness of the device when deploying multi-monitor designs. The substrate for it was a 10-bit IPS type matrix (8 bits + FRC) with a high peak brightness threshold (350 cd / m²), a response time of 5 ms (when switching from a grey pixel to grey) and an sRGB “triangle” colour gamut of about 109 %.
Philips 276E8VJSB supports Flicker-Free (eliminates backlight flicker) and Low Blue Light (reduces the harmful effects of blue light). The screen of the model is capable of displaying a picture from two sources in one fell swoop (Picture by Picture function). The shelf of the monitor's interface connectors includes Display Port version 1.2 and a tandem of HDMI ports version 2.0. The crescent-shaped stand allows you to adjust the display position of the device in the range from -5 to +20 °.

i bought it a year ago for movies. I'm satisfied with the purchase, although there's one dead pixel. Not sure if it was there before or developed while I had it; I noticed it after about six months of use. It's hard to spot—it’s only visible if you look really closely. The black color didn't impress me; it's not “vibrant” and there's significant light bleed. Overall, it's fine. Go for it, it’s a good option for any purpose. + (plus) - ![]() |
My first 4K monitor. Was chosen on a limited budget, mainly for work and films, sometimes games. The alternative was to buy a second FullHD and I am very glad that I settled on the more expensive option! I've been using it for more than 6 months, no complaints. In my unassuming opinion, very decent color rendition (for such and such a price tag); Good build quality; No visible highlights or shadows on both black and white backgrounds; Stylish and discreet design, thin frame and no controls in sight (I spent about 5 minutes searching for the first time how to turn it on); A beautiful stand made of galvanized gray metal, heavy and with rubber lining. It was difficult to manually tighten the screw connecting the leg to the stand - at first, it was not tight enough, and the monitor wobbled slightly. Maybe it's just me. As for what they write about the "long wake-up time," those are just nitpicks - what's a big deal about 4-5 seconds, all monitors and TVs take that long to turn on now, sometimes even longer. The intensely bright toxic blue splash screen at startup! But the problem is easily solved - I don't turn off the monitor ;) ![]() |
I bought it for working with multiple windows and a slight emphasis on color accuracy. Here's my review of my unit: The resolution is sufficient to comfortably arrange 4 windows. Pixels are not visible, and the picture is clear. No dead pixels detected. Slight backlight bleed is noticeable only on a completely black screen, but in general, for a non-artist, the image is bright and doesn't "wash out" at wide viewing angles. No backlight flickering noticed. The screen is semi-matte with 8mm bezels (top and sides) and 21mm (bottom). Joystick control is convenient only for infrequent adjustments and switching between video inputs. You can connect 3 signal sources, but all 60Hz at 4K is available only on DP. You can combine up to two screens: "Side by Side" (optimal resolution 1980x2160 each or another with 8/9) and "Picture in Picture" (sizes can be changed, but the main screen is partially covered). Sometimes it's better to combine screens than to frequently switch between them. It's a bit slow to wake up. It might even not wake up - sometimes a restart is faster. Imho, the blue is too bright when turned on (Philips, don't do that). Bright white mode indicator (I covered mine - I don't like extra light). Sensitive to power line fluctuations (a filter is desirable) - rarely, but it can flicker the image and turn off the backlight for three to four seconds. LowBlue mode, imho, just boosts the green. It's better to set the temperature to 5000 and reduce the brightness, which might seem too high by default. Stand - cast metal. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. Honest 4K, Decent color reproduction at most brightness levels, Capability to connect and display multiple video signals, Affordable price, Stylish and sleek design, There is a headphone jack, but it's at the back, so consider taking an "extension", Reliable stand Long exit from standby mode, Sensitive to power grid pulsations, Too bright blue backlight when turned on ![]() |
