“Three of the casket, the same from the face” - we are talking about Sony lenses with focal lengths of 24, 40 and 50 mm, respectively. All this brotherhood debuted at the beginning of 2021, compactness, light weight and the same dimensions (68x45 mm) are at the forefront of it. From a practical point of view, you can use this optic for video shooting on gimbals and stabilizers, changing lenses, but without reconfiguring additional equipment.
A wide-angle prime with a focal length of 24 mm and aperture of f/2.8 is adapted for photo and video shooting on Sony mirrorless cameras. Videographers will appreciate the knurled aperture ring in the lens design to mate with a gear drive. The Sony 24mm f/2.8 G FE boasts good wide aperture sharpness, silent autofocus, and no breathing effect. The optical formula of the model has 8 elements in 7 groups (including one ED lens and three aspherical elements). The lens thread for filters is 49 mm. The wide-angle "baby" weighs only 162 g.
